I know its a slim chance but i thought I may as well post this

Last monday night (14th Feb) someone came onto my dads property and stole our trailer with our kanga loader (digger) on it.

If anyone has seen this, there is a reward of $5000 for information leading to the recovery of these goods.

The digger is worth about $30,000 but someone will probably try sell it for

$20,000 of even less. So if you hear of anyone with a nice near new digger who bought it "cheap" or trying to off load one let me know.

The trailer is fairly old and a dark blue colour (could have been easily resprayed I know, but if they did a bodge home job you could probably still find a trace of the colour underneath.)

The kanga loader is green and gold (also could have been resprayed) and is near new, maybe 100 hours on the clock, they got 2 of the post hole borers and the bucket attachment that was also on the trailer too.

Dont have any photos of it but heres one off their website.

Please call John on 0409 054 345, or pm/email myself at [email protected] if you have any info.

Hate to say this earth moving equipement are VERY RARELY recovered from theft, as they usually find themself on large property and then parts donner to another identical machine which the thief have bough legal.

You'll find most heavy machinery are fitted with sat. tracking, These are the only case where they are found and theif caught.

recent conversation with a insurance broker, he said a caterpillar skid steer loader similar to ones we have, went missing from a site and the police used the sat track, to trace it and found it sitting in a garage of a house in marsden.

Sorry fellas forgot to mention stolen from Calamvale, QLD Brisbane. Could be in NSW by now for all we know.

As I said we know its a long shot but its worth at least trying. And trust us, if we do find who stole it they will be shot.

My dad cant even remember the rego on his trailer but hes not too worried about getting that back, its the kanga we want.

Thanks for lookin out, my dad and I both appreciate it alot.

Is there a kanga forums???? For fully sick and phat kangers????

Nah just joking, maby contact kanga them selves and tell them the serial or vin for this unit and see if they have any ideas on how to track it down...

EG> If someone comes to me looking for a PSU for a notebook i ask for the P/N and the S/N. If they give me the numbers i order the part. If they dont give me the serial, i walk out after them and take their rego for the police. I explain why i need the S/N, most dont comply and walk away, as they know if they give it to me. It will be listed stolen, and i need their details for the order.

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
