As the title says i bought, what was supposed to be an 044 but the part number on it reads.... bosch B 580 152 535

I bought it off a forum member and what he said to me was that the one

he sold me was made in germany while the one that most people get

their hands on comes from the czech republic and has the usual

044 number on it!

Can anyone help me on this matter?

I've already looked EVERYWHERE!

Any help would be much appreciated!:P

You got given the wrong fuel pump.

The 535 only flows 165 litres/hour not 200 litres/hour like the 044

On a side note when are we finally going to be rid of this idiot, he is a proven liar and a shonky dealer. I know he keeps signing up again and again, but it has got to stop.

I'm waiting to hear back from bosch, I had sent an email to them to find out the story!

If it is the wrong one there are going to be some issues between me and

doridori32 or mines_datsun or redfc or alex or whoever the fcuk he is!

Anyways if you wanted to block him out you could do it through his

IP adress or adresses!

Thanks guys!

Hi Damien

here is a link to the Bosch Catalogue listing the bosch B 580 152 535 and you will see that it's flow capabilities are not 200 litres/hour

Oh and Nexus, what flow rates are they are ? ( Fuel pressure ) The pump is a 044 , same size, same specs but MADE IN GERMANY. show me where you read voltage/flow/pressure specs that say 535

Oh and id like to add that you nexus just got OWNED.... look at the 044 measurements(length/size bla bla ) there the same as 044. and even GIVE BOSCH GERMANY a call.

Thanks

If you actually read the document Nexus posted, you would see that it clearly says the 535 has a lower flow rate.. and the damn document is WRITTEN in German, which would tend to indicate it IS talking about the German pump.

So you are saying that there are two pumps that are exactly the same, one has a part number of 535, and the other has 044 - but the 044 is the same as the 535?

But there is a 535 which is *also* a different part manufactured in a different country with a lower rate? And these are sold by a large multinational company with conflicting part numbers?

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
