after going head to head with a wrx with minimal mods on the freeway.

score even (even though i was short shifting)

i new something was wrong... not making enought power

one week later noticed that at part throttle car was hesitant so new there was something wrong

so sent it in to get the injectors flowed.

injector guy flowed them and before cleaning they were flowing 210cc. WTF

now that is ***in dirty

they r supposed to be 440

now the r clean the car goes like a gtr should.

havent taken it for a good run but i think a 55% inprovement in flow should make it hall arse again.

once again i can hapily destry most things on the road

moral get your injectors cleaned it doesnt cost shit

200

done a Grey imports at annendale(0419995150) in out with all new seals

not i pulled em out but busted the o- ring when putting em in so got my mechanice to get them cleaned and installed properly.

takes about 30 mins to pull out (dont know what im doing).

you should see how much harder it pulls not its like a new car

i like it

note my car didnt run for 2 months while i was away. i think that is where it really clogged up.

the injector guy said they were in a shocking state

get it done before you do damage to your engine is what i preach now

Just a bit curious if any of you guys exactly how injection shops actually go about cleaninig injectors, what parts do they change, solvents used, etc.

I am thinking of doing it myself as i can obtain an ultrasonic bath for the cleaninig. I am just unsure of the procedure and if the ultrasonic bath cleaning is a good idea, as the high frequencies may actually make more damage that good to the coil....

Anyone know?

If not, can anyone recommend any trustworthy places and pricing?

Taking Injectors out of thr GTR is the easiest thing on this planet besides ****s.

I cost me $12.50 each to clean the injector plus only a small amount for labour to take out.

GTST are a bit harder but not by much.

As Pete Says. Its one of the best things you can do to your car.

That $12.50 includes new seals and all!!!

So when you go to do a cold start in the morning you will have full pressure in the lines and it wont stutter when you start because no fuel leaks into the engine when you dont start it for awhile.

Plus at least next time when you have a problem you can rule out it isnt dirty injectors or old seals.
