Horsepower to kilowatts

I just went to http://www.onlineconversion.com/power.htm to convert Hp to Kw but there are 4 different types of Hp and was wondering which I should use.

1 international

2 metric

3 water (prob not)

4 electric (prob not)

international hp is amercian where as metric hp is japanese (ps)... i think you'll find there is really no difference between them all for you purpose.

Multiply HP by 0.75 to give kW.
