I thought I found a pair of Iron Mask headlights today at Just Jap but the outer reflectors are stuffed like mine . If no one is willing to sell me a good pair can the reflectors be repaired ie re chrome plated , does anyone do this in Sydney ?

sounds like your in the same boat as me, i'm wanting to get the insides sharpened up but don't want to run the risk of them being damaged in that process, my latest through is xenon HID conversion kit or something along those lines, i'm going to speck to a sparkie in the next few days... good luck.

Take them to a competent panel beater. Generally they can split the glass from the rear plastic housing and clean/polish the inside of the lense etc. This is done all the time to Soarer headlights as they tend to go yellow, so I don't see why you can't take yours apart, polish/re-chrome what you need to and seal it back together.

r30 headlight seem to loose the plating off the lense, so only resurfacing works
