Where is BWCP? Where is BWCP? Who is BWCP? Will it be a hard drive to BWCP? How much fuel will I need? Where exactly are we going? Is the road surface ok, I have a low front bar? Isnt this the place where they blocked the carpark and defected everyone? Can I have a lift? What time will the cruise end? Where will you guys be at 10, 11 and 1130pm? Can I bring my mate in his 200b with a 13b in it? I heard that cops sit out there? What exit number is it? What is it near? Where is the closest BP? Im confused can you send me a PM? what number is it in the refedex?, who should I call when i get lost? How long will the cruise go for? and Cant we meet somewhere else? or can I organise another thread with different places to meet, just down the road from me that way we can have 3 or 4 meet spots and confuse the hell out of everyone?

For the sake of gold coast people, you should rewrite that as an FAQ!

That way it can be linked to whenever someone asks the same dang questions every dang thread about going any dang where dang snabbit. Dang.

thats a compilation of myself and smoothlines post in another thread...u just stole it :D

Krawler: I think everyone knows that many of you "brisbane" people are just as bad...

Just got back from dropping off owner of car that spun out on onramp at springwood poor buugger had it for 3 weeks and gf was driving was a gtr vspec pretty original cond with 400 frontbar. met him at crazy clarks he was driving past and noticed all the lines and thought hed stop by, so we invited him to bwcp, followed me on to onramp and in my mirror i see her crash head on into wall then 180 rear qtr into wall, bald tyres. Rear passenger broken ribs everyone else ok.

Now ppl it made me stop and think about alot of things but mainly driver skill and driver awareness of how much power these cars actually have and to a novice like her how dangerous it can be, so please ppl drive within your limits no matter what the car in front or beside is doing.

I ended up helping that guy out who got stuck on onramp pm fro details

Yeh, not good at all. My friend Rob told me what happened.

Anyway I had some dramas of my own, I did a bottom end bearing last night!! :D

Now at 2500rpm you hear a tapping noise coming from the engine and gets louder as you rev it - I assume its the bottom end bearing.

Not happy....... The engine has to come out now, and I thought everything was coming together..... not so it seems. I was wondering what would cause this as I have nismo bearings, oil cooler, HKS high volume oil pump and at the time it happened I wasn't even giving it a hard time.

Now because I only just moved up here, I don't know who is the BEST engine builder as I don't want this to happen again.

I was wondering what happened to you WetGTR, I saw you pull into Yatala, but you never came and said hi, and I never saw you after that.

I was looking around for you but couldn't see you around. We stayed around crazy clarks waiting for you but thought you left or something. Other guys there were also waiting for you.

What happened?

Afro rang me and I'd missed Crazies for 8:30 (picking up Myth33 from half way down the coast ) so we were already at Yatala, I figured you guys would've moved on without us and we'd meet you there, but Afro was like WTF YOU AT. So we waited at Yatala and you all caught up, I saw you drive past and pull into a petrol pump, but never saw you after that.

Stupid me, didn't even think to look around Yatala to see if you were there.

Should of walked around and checked it out.

Hopfully next time were able to catch up.

Cars going off the road now, main bearing problem.

Hopefully get it going as soon as possible but I think it will take 4 weeks to be put back together and running again, not happy......

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
