dezz
for a newbie like me, how are the different sounds of blow off valves described? and what is needed to be done to the car to be able to have a BOV sorry that these questions are probably the absolute basic stuff for you guys, but as you can see by the post count (1 after this) i'm only new, and haven't actually bought a skyline just yet. thanks in advance though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/70393-blow-off-valves-apexi-blitz-greddy-hks-sard/page/3/#findComment-1504437 Share on other sites

raz0r$harP.UK
for a newbie like me, how are the different sounds of blow off valves described?and what is needed to be done to the car to be able to have a BOV sorry that these questions are probably the absolute basic stuff for you guys, but as you can see by the post count (1 after this) i'm only new, and haven't actually bought a skyline just yet. thanks in advance though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Different BOVS have different sounds. Beyond that it's easy to describe the sounds. If you search on the net you'll find some sound clips of BOVs on different cars, but the sound you get may be different depending on the car, engine, state of tune, etc. If you have a typical turbo car (turbo Skyline, WRX, etc) it sill have a stock BOV, which can be taken off and replaced with an aftermarket one. But this isn't the place to discuss this. If you want to know more, search the rest of the forum or post a question in the relevant area.
