About 2 issues ago HPI mag did a DIY install guide on these for a R32. Its not very hard. Just get local suspension shop to do final adjustments

PS - is the caber top adjustment the only difference between the two models, other than that they are same? They lok diferent in pics.

Cheers

guys just to clear things up R32s cant have the camber adjustment.

i dunno about other models though.

i have these in my car and i got the pillowball ones which are meant to have camber adjustment but not for the R32

lol get em while they are hot... just a figure of speach i hope! whats this about cant get the camber adjustable for a r32? I already have coil overs on my 32 GTR but not camber adjusting ones. So i am looking for some so please explain???

as far i i know they all come iwth camber adjustment

will confirm for the r32

oh yea and it was a figure of speach

cheers pete

The HR32 Suspension geometry does not allow

camber adjustment on the shocks as does MacPherson strut. -S13/14/15

SO no camber adjust shocks for Skylines!

You can adjust them, just with diff hardware.

i have an R32 HCR32 GTS-t RB20DET.

i have been looking at getting the HR coilovers. but what do u mean about the camber adjustments ?

And shipping does this include shipping ?

i live in syd.

Mod ur car will do it $1,599 free shipping for SAU members.

no doesnt include shipping

bt im 1000000% positive shipping wont be 110 dollars so you can bet it will be cheaper

however if you dont know me i understand your desire to pay more :)

speak to any of the people who run SAU in NSW im sure they will vouche for how dodgy i am :P

im only farmilure with the s13 stuff cause i use it on my r31(with a conversion kit)

but if skylines r32 or > dont have the camber tops its proabably best to buy the cheaper ones

pete(will find out about >r32 tommorow)

A few questions, what sort of delivery time do you expect from time of payment.

And as they arent adjustable camber because R32s like R33 used wishbone front ends, is it possible the cheaper HS uses the std rubber shock top, where the HR uses billet tops with pillow nall mounts?!?!?!

Ie a Skyline HR look likehds15hrrear.jpg

Since they supply the same spring rate im tempted to go for the HS and buy some alloy tops seperate, but i suppose it depends if the HS come with any?!?!?!

Outside that i reckon im about an 85% chance of giving the HRs a go:)

Higer spring rates and adjustable rebound and ride height...outside of that i may be able to let you know in a week or two, as im looking at upgrading from my Whiteline kit at the moment to something a little harder in the spring department.

i'd love to as i've had my eye on these for my 33 for a while now, unfortunately the cash for them won't be in my grubby hands till tax time so i'll have to pass, shame.

good luck with them. be interested in hearing the results of installs.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
