Hehe just thought id post our lucky night last night

Goin out to the RSL for dinner and a night out wif as little as 50 dollars on us we ended up haveing several drinks and had a slap on the pokies. Heres where the fun comes in

My gf and i put 10 dollars in 1 machine and won it up to 80$ then pulled it out (accidently hit the collect button) , my GF gave my a 1$ coin and i went to another machine and put it in and got 5 scatters , winning 80$ off 1 dollar. Ended up pulling $150 out of 1 $ OMG WATTA NIGHT :D

Ended up goin home with over 200$ i was STOKED:P i hate pokies and we SCORED hehehe.

So now i got more money for fuel and goodies over the weekend hehehe.

Anyone else had any good luck with pokies , dont be affraid to share your story ;)

haha.

i'm a pokermachine technician. i sit at work when i get a maching running

max bet, and throw as much money in as i can find. take it out and put it all in again.

sometimes when i set machines on 96% return i have put throught $1500 and not even gone over what i put in. and ended up at 0..

i never play them when i go out anymore.

but definatley have had alot of luck on them. used to gamble say 50 a week. always used to come out infront somehow.

shit things tho. i dig hitting them with hammers.

but still, one day you win say 200 as you claimed.. for next month or so, if you still play them, you wil end up loosin more anyways..

You win one nite, loose the next couple of nites n goes on n on..

But if you only put in like 1-20 bucks max, then its ok.. but for those serious players, im worried!!.. hope you dont loose your car or house or anything..

Only time I ever played pokies was on my 18th birthday at Star City. Got a feature and won $25 off the free $5 (or whatever it was) that Star City gives you when you become a member.

Yeah i think its $10, i won $50 on the roulette table from the join up money

Geezzz i dont know where to begin... i have so many pokie stories.

Ive won 80 off 10

ive won 250 off 20

i won 200 of 50

etc etc etc

I was at the greengate a couple of weeks ago and i was talking to some guys who were playing.

they were down at the pymple pub the week b4 and had $ 10 each. he put it in and won 150, and his mate won like 50 or so. They then went to another machice and put in the rest, one of them took out $2500 and the other guys pulled out $400

U win some you loose some, its just money, have fun !

    • Yeah I've had too many issues with knock off's on the BMW's. I don't want to do a job twice or more because the parts are shit.
    • I read this and thought "ah! I will do this scissor jack on the tow point thing!" I just use my floor/low profile/costco jack and lift the car up by the tow hook itself, then slide jack stands under. Never thought about using scissor into floor jack combo :p
    • Well, my new WMI system took much longer to finalize. I actually missed my dyno appointment last Friday and lost my 150$ deposit. I'll be going back in the next week or two.  To sum it up. I only kept the AEM tank from my old setup. I replaced the AEM pump with a higher flow/pressure ProMeth 30GPH pump. I also swapped over to a 6AN low pressure feed line to the pump from the tank. There's also a pressure switch you cannot see on the pump high pressure line.    This is feeding 6x 200CC direct port nozzles and 1x 500CC Pre Throttle body nozzle. All fittings are Swagelok, because well why not. I also have a 300PSI pressure sensor up front.    I now have my Haltech ECU controlling everything. I start my pump with a basic relay at 5PSI and deadhead it. I then PWM a 3000CC methanol Injector to control flow starting around 10psi. The pressure switch in the trunk, along with my tank level are safeties before I ever get to 10PSI, and then I use my pressure sensor upfront as a secondary safety to cut the WMI and corrections in case the injector blocks or a line ruptures.  Wish me luck on the dyno!
    • So, I'm back with bad news. There's no jack long enough on this planet that will reach the front subframe. If by some chance there is, it would weigh 200lb's.  I purchased a long reach jack... The damn thing weighted 120lb's and was massive. Didn't even come close, was still short at least a foot. It was a pain, but I brought it back. Next I decided HA! No problem, I'll get an Extra long reach jack. Well, I couldn't lift the box... It must have weighed 160LB's and luckily there was an open box in store. I took measurement and was still nowhere close.  Sadly I've lost hope and have accepted defeat.
    • Thanks for that tip, niZmO_Man. I think the battery is OK. It's quite a new one, but I'll check. Last time I needed a new battery, everything electronic was fine, except that there wasn't enough current to turn over the starter. I decided to order one of the partial AV system translation CDs from Car Audio Workshop in NZ. That might have some effect, or help me diagnose the date problem. 🤞
