Hi Guys,

I am new here.

First of all I would like to know if anyone has a skyline similar to mine, or if anyone has infomation about the car.

it is a 1992 R32 Auto with a rb25de

Thank you.

A NewTattoo... whilst it seems I am being a prick I am not. Just tired of people using gangster sms speak on the forums. I am not a grammar nazi, nor care about spelling mistakes. I think you will find it easier to use these forums and get good responses if you use better english.

What kind of infomation are you after. Some members have excellent websites full of infomation.

Try www.meggala.com for instance.

Good work Carlo but in this case I think it could be someone who to them, English isn't their first language. I had some mates from uni who used to spell certain words like that, who were not from this hemisphere.

Annoys me as well people can't type a post in English, when they know how to though also.

Thanks for the reply,guys .....

and i will be careful about the language from now on..

but i am not a guy

and the information i m after is that i want to find out if anyone has the similar car like mine,i been told it is diffcult to find parts for my car....

and could anyone please tell me how to display a pic in here....(if anyone tells me , i don't mind to put my pic out)

thank u very much

parts wont be hard at all...

Hornsby Nissan stock a very larger range of import parts and if you speak to John there he is very helpful and knowledgeable. But when you ring it would be best to always have your chassis number handy so they can see it's an R32 with the RB25DE motor so you always get the right parts. If anything is not in stock then it's only 2 weeks from Japan.

It might be a challenge to get 2nd hand parts but that's the case with any car really... SSS Automotive and Just Jap are good for 2nd hand parts in NSW. Also Japanese Motorsport in Adelaide stock a very decent range of 2nd hand parts (they had 5 sets of Calipers we needed in stock that 5 other NSW wreckers didn't). Don't be freaked out about them being in SA, Couriers Please will courier most items for around $25 to you.. Not that expensive really.

Your chassis number can be found in 2 places. 1 is on the blue Nissan build plate and the other is on the firewall at the back of the engine bay. It will read as follows:

HCR32-0012345

probably wont be HCR32 but I forget the model code for you car but you get the idea :(

well i don't know much about car parts ,but there s a thing on the right hand side ,it measure the speed of the air ,then give the computer message ,and the computer decide how much patrol to give , what does it called?and how much is it?because sometimes my car switch off itself , no reason , could be anywhere, anytime before it went off no shakeing noting ,so it is not the oil part should be the electric part.....we believe is that part 's broken

could anyone tell me how to display a pic ,plzzzzzzzzz

I have no idea what you're on about...sounds like the boost gauge perhaps. Anyway.

To attach a pic, click "Go Advanced", scroll down to "Additional Options" and click on "Manage Attachments". Look for the picture(s) you want to upload and hit "Upload".

After that simply "Submit Reply"

I think ANT is referring to the Air Flow Meter

It measures the air and then lets the computer (ECU) decide how much fuel to inject.

As I do not know much about skylines, I will put the problem back to the experts.

Did you have the air flow meter tested.

They are very expensive brand new.. I would suggest if you need a new one you call someone like justjap (www.justjap.com) and see what they can do as far as getting you a replacement.

To display a pic you need to upload it to a web server and then put the URL in brackets like this.. http:///blah

or if you go post reply you can attach them I think.. not sure if prank has this enabled tho.

yeah~~my friend told me it s about $200 something ....hope i can get it fixed soon....or i guess it will get worse later......

the problem was not there before i put the alarm , do u think it could have anything to do with it??

i tired to display a pic ,can u guys see it now?but how come the system always tells me the pic is too big.....

I like that first tattoo. I have been wanting to get one for ages, but keep changing my mind on what to get.

Yeah if your AFM is busted your car will try and compensate but your fuel usage will be out of wack.. I would definatly get it replaced sooner than later.

Thank you very much .....i called up some friends , and i m getting the parts in two days~~~hopefully it will be okie~~

yeah ~~i hav got three tattoos ,always wanted more , but i think too many will looked cheap on a girl and i reckon i have got enough ....but don't get me wrong i have never regreted of getting them ,the idea never cross my mind , even after my parents found out ~~~~so before u do it , think about it , don' t do it if you are not sure

i put more pics in the Thread named : place your tattoo pics in here

if u interested in , more than welcome to go have a look ciao :P

    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
    • My experience with Rising Sun Exports Before agreeing to the sale I tried to do as much research as I could (obviously), his Facebook reviews are 98% and he goes Live at least once or twice a week. I contacted 2 people in the UK who had used him for their imports, both had positive feedback. His explanation and talk through of the import process was thorough, answering any query no matter how stupid it was. It felt as soon as the money was sent, communication dropped off. I asked for shipping updates every 2 weeks or so, not wanting to pester him, he never had any updates. I wasn't informed the car had been dropped off at the port, I only found out by his Facebook story. I asked for the photos taken at the port, knowing he would need some for insurance purposes. I received a few 5 second clips and that's it. When asked again, he said his staff had them. Weeks later I asked again, he tells me he doesn't have any, but does have 50 photos from the original advert. I never received them. I eventually got the documents sent via WhatsApp after I mentioned the port was requesting them. I purchased a CarVX report, to find out the vehicle is a Grade R with recorded accident damage, first recorded in 2017 when it was first auctioned. He never told me the grade, then again I didn't ask. His response was "Grade R means nothing, it wasn't chassis damage". Still, I would have liked to have been informed about it. Jon prides himself on being open and honest when it comes to inspecting cars, it's his main job doing so at the auctions for customers. When the vehicle arrived in the UK I noticed a few little cosmetic issues. It's a 21 year old car so it wasn't going to be mint condition. The side skirts are cracked on each corner and the sealant is failing. The front grill on the bonnet/hood isn't secured very well, mounting studs are missing. Both minor things, but again, it would have been nice to be told. During a Facebook Live walk around video of the vehicle, he mentioned it has a front Whiteline anti roll bar/sway bar. While on the inspection ramp, I noticed the stock item has been installed. When first questioned, his response was "the ARB? Switched? Since when, it never had them". Since sending video and photo evidence I've not received a response. I'm probably being over critical of the overall condition of an old car, but all I wanted was honesty (which he claims to have). I'm aware I wasn't his only customer, he's busy doing XYZ but other reviews praise him for great communication with regular updates and photos, I felt I didn't receive the same treatment.
