Suggest Metal finisher for GTR intercooler

Hello,

Had a peak around and havent found any info on where I could go to get a recently purchased R33 GTR intercooler tidied up and made black again. Previous owner has sprayed the front silver. its a bit dagy all round, so I want to get it stripped right back, and a nice new coat of black go on (stealthy) Hopefully they can neaten it up a bit where its been knocked around. I've had a bit of a play with a screwdriver with the fins, getting them back into line. so can anyone suggest where I could go? and possibly idea on cost?

I remember reading an article a while on the autospeed website where a an intercooler had its paint chemically stripped. The business was located in Adeliade but im not sure what it was called. Ill see if can find it again.

Hey,

Try asking a crash repairer where to go to get panels dipped. There is a place in Wingfield somewhere where a mate of mine got every removable panel stripped and then electroplated with an anti-rust coating and finally Etch-primed.

I'm sure these guys would do something for you, I just can't remember the name. Think it was Midas ??????? but not sure at all.

A simple metal polisher such as autosol will do the trick!!! beautiful!!
