Hi Guys,

Whilst not car related it still proves that stocker gauges can be off track a little. After starting out to learn dj mixing as a side hobby I found the stock beat per minute counters on the mixer were inaccurate as all buggery and couldn't make up their mind. One minute 138bpm, 5 seconds later its 148bpm and so on. Makes it very hard to learn and practice with so I managed to find an external aftermarket bpm counter which I got today and gave it a crank. Works awesome and is accurate as can be, also picks up the beat in 2 seconds.

Much better and more accurate than the stockers. :(

nah didn't mean that you're uncool... just that the pioneer BPM counters suck.

great tool to learn with, but like you said, they're inaccurate unlike your hearing and your brain to mix the beats :D

you'll quickly find you don't need one anyways :P

edit - and damn that is an excessively large beat counter!
