My 1989 R32 GTR skyline has been stolen from leichhardt. it is a gun metal grey with white rims and standard except for the exhaust. Rego ATP 37R

I've only had the car for the week endafter 5 months of hassle getting it through the 15 year old rule. this makes it more of a shame.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

all i can say is that my dream car is gone and i don't know what to do.

u must feel terrible hey, sorry to hear. I know how pissed off/upset i'd be if it was my car.

always_me make sure you have something other then your fists hey, some of them might carry knives and shit, being the lowlifes that they are.

my car was stolen from outside my house recently but i found it shortly after

it just a wanring to everyone that DONT park park your car on the street. also i never thought something like car theft would happen in my area because i know so many people around here but still, trust no one. i know it sounds a little negative but thats the only way u can keep ur pride and joy safe

man, that is terrible. I really to feel for you. but seriously you parked a GTR on the street without any form of security. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I'm sure you had planned to put in an alarm/immobiliser but that should be the first thing you do, and if you can't get it straight away park it in a garage, take out the battery, take out the fuses and sleep with one eye open. I know I would.

Mate, I honestly hope you get it back.

i admit it was on the street and an immobaliser wasn't fitted but i was getting one this weekend. Guess it didn't last that long

lol

I know the feeling, part of my house got broken into last weekend and some things of considerable worth taken. I have alarm which wasnt on and I have a safe which wasnt installed.

But I can tell you I now use the safe and alarm

sorry to hear bout your car ... i feel for you man

i left my car on the street one night and some c%#k suckers broke into it stole all my shit (including one seat cover dont ask me y) and just to top it off they nicked my mags also.

you think that sucks i waited 4 hrs for the police to turn up and when they got there they asked if i always kept my car on bricks and that it would be a waits of their time to collect finger prints or blood samples (they cut themselves when they broke in) because there was little chance they would catch them.

if your gonna find it mate better go out yourself and start lookin cause the cops will just wait till someone calls and tells them that your car has been burnt out.

    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
