Hey mate if its the price ur worried about, go for the hankook k104's. Ive got them on my car at the moment. Much better than the falkens and around the same price. Do a search on the forums for them and u see all the good feedback on them.

N e ways im not sure what GT is so out of Nankang and Falken, id go for the falkens. Also if they are the ze326 ive heard a lot of bad things about em

Which model in each brand? most brands have good and bad tyres......

:werd:

You can't just evaluate brands, you need to be specific. For instance, anything in the Falken Ziex range is generally thought of as rubbish, whilst their FKs are quite well regarded (for the money).

LW.

I understand there are better tyres on the market... but i'd like opinions out of these three..... if that's ok...

those three brands collectively probably make around 50 different types of passenger car tyre. not to go into fully slick tryres etc. so unless you can narrow it down a bit mate, no-one is going to be able to answer your question.

The reason i posted this in the first place is because, well... i'm clueless when it comes to which one i should buy therefore i figured those who have tried the different ones would know by experience... i cannot trust wot the guy trying to make a buck out of me is gonna tell me so i ask.. obviously out of the fifty or so models of tyres there are only a select few that will suit an 18" rim... i guess i took for granted that you'd understand that...and BTW, a few have already answered my question... or at least made things a bit clearer

Cheers champ!

You know there's a whole tyres forum right?

What? And show some initiative by doing the research yourself, instead of just asking uselessly broad questions and expecting people to give you an answer on a silver platter?

Nah!

Nah!

Why did you even bother with that?..... get some sleep!

You know there's a whole tyres forum right? There's heaps in there, here is a recent thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=72923

    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
    • I did end up getting it sorted, as GTSBoy said, there was a corroded connection and wire that needed to be replaced. I ended up taking out the light assembly, giving everything a good clean and re-soldered the old joints, and it came out good.
    • Wow, thanks for your help guys 🙏. I really appreciate it. Thanks @Rezz, if i fail finding any new or used, full or partial set of original Stage carpets i will come back to you for sure 😉 Explenation is right there, i just missed it 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for pointing out. @soviet_merlin in the meantime, I received a reply from nengun, and i quote: "Thanks for your message and interest in Nengun. KG4900 is for the full set of floor mats, while KG4911 is only the Driver's Floor Mat. FR, RH means Front Right Hand Side. All the Full Set options are now discontinued. However, the Driver's Floor Mat options are still available according to the latest information available to us. We do not know what the differences would be, but if you only want the one mat, we can certainly see what we can find out for you". Interesting. It seems they still have some "new old stock" that Duncan mentioned 🤔. I wonder if they can provide any photos......And i also just realized that amayama have G4900 sets. I'm tempted too.
