Hi Guys,

I am just starting a new thread about this controller as it is getting hard to find the old one now.

I am still offering the 'brass and stainless steel' Turbotech at a discount to skyliners at $35 delivered which includes express delivery. For those who haven't read the reviews the old thread can be viewed at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...75&page=1&pp=25

The thread contains 12 pages of reviews and even some installation tips and pictures. I have sold over 400 of these gems now, many of which have gone across the world.

Over 100 SAU members now have them installed and over 300 sold through other avenues. I also sell them on ebay with 100% positive feedback which can be viewed at http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ame=STRK:ME:UFS

For any questions or orders please email me direct at [email protected]

Payment is by money order, direct deposit or paypal. A reference number will be provided for all orders and postage is by express which is inclusive of the price.

Thanks,

Mark

Any word on my BC Mark? Hope you got the money alright...

EDIT:

Got home after work and found the Boost Controller in my mail - excellent stuff! Delivery of only 4 days considering the weekend in the middle.

Will leave some good feedback about Mark as a trader...

Looking forward to installing it.

NB:

Read the instructions before fiddling with the controller - I made the mistake of disasembling the unit before reading (messed up the setting from Mark).

Hey Mark,

Not sure how the trader rating thing works on the SAU but could you leave one for me?

EDIT: Installed boost controller today... works well (or too well), peaking to the top of the stock gauge - need to fine tune the thing and then I should be alright!

Thanks again,

Stan

was just wondering if some1 took some photos while installing this onto a r33. what is the standard setup and whats the installation involve... ive read the other thread but cant get my head around it.. whats the standard solenoid? what happens to it when u install one of these babies. pm me replies, prolly best not to flood this with idle chit chat

I know this sort of reply is probably getting real old by now, but I just wanted to say how impressed I am with this little controller. I am running an RB20 with RB25 turbo, and it does not spike even in the slightest. I haven't tested if it drops off at high rpm yet, but I can say that the GFB controller in before it was spiking 1-2psi.

My only question is, why haven't GFB, Turbosmart etc., with their presumably very large R&D departments, not figured this out already??

i got mine afew weeks ago, bloody brilliant, im running it on my rb25det in my r31, running 10psi wih the "hi boost mode mod", but i get 1-psi spike at 6,000rpm+ mabey i didnt tighten the nut enough, but its freeking great, i love it!

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
