Well even if it rains, it wont rain non stop all day. It'll be patches of it so we will just close doors for a 10 minutes until it stops.

There's gotta be someone who can help tragic out. Who lives north shore? Maybe he could bus to a main road or something.

Guys - A few of us who can't make it up there early enough to enter into the show are heading up later in the morning.

So we are meeting at Thornleigh Maccas overflow carpark which is behind the Ibis at 10am on Sunday. By meeting at the Overflow carpark we will avoid the maccas traffic which is pretty hectic on Sunday mornings and best avoided for all those with hangovers (specifically directed at LANFOH!)

So 10am Sunday...we'll leave by 10:30!

Let me know if any q's

My position on Tragic will have to be pending... (waiting on reply) and even then it'll only be 1 space available; I doubt anyone wants to sit in the middle (at the back) and experience major major headaches all the way.

i have 2 seats available at the back but i am bad in finding ways and i won't have time to find the street tragic unless Tragic wants to come to Dee Why ...Or see if the guys who are leaving at 10 am have some seats available otherwise can you guys catch a taxi to Dee Why from mosman...it won't cost you more then 15 $ i guess...but that is the last option available...if you dnt get any lift by sat nite 8 pm ...call me on 0401380864 and i'll tell you where to meet in Dee Why

Hey guys thanks for the offers, Satanic, middle back seat isn't to big a issue as my girlfriends pretty small (5ft) so she could squeeze in. R34NOS, i'll call you if i don't get any other rides, taxi ain't a issue.

Thanks again guys, and if anyone else has more plentiful seats available then let me know :D

OMG guys guess what? My today whist cleaning the car and degreesing, friend helped me do it, and doing the engine he poured too much water on the engine and and It splutters real bad and cant even go over certain RPMs. :D farrkkk....

So now... I might not be able to go up there.... :D Farkk....

I have two AMPs that I need to give to sindows and get money from him :) argh... Can any nice person take the amps up to the show and shine?

Or if anyone knows a place where I can get this spluttering fixed up? spare coils? new oness?

Easy fixed you probably have  heap of water down under the coilpacks.  Pull the coilpacks out and dry out everything over the spark plugs it should be fine :D  see you on sunday :D

hmm hope soo.. friend is comming over now to help me...

So I just take out the top plate of the engine and take the coils out? hmmm ok will see... will report back in a few hours..

dammit driving on the M4 with this problem sux0rs... had to drive like 90km/hr on a 110 zone.. was scarey too.. felted like car had no power.

aww doodz, whatcha doing pouring water over the engine?!

edit: do what duncan said... :D

it wasnt meeeeeee :D :chairshot :chairshot :chairshot

friend was degressing the engine bay and yea poured lots of water on it.. he forgot about the coilpacks inside...

dammit... maybe a dryer will help?

couldnt gain access to the other coils.

Drove around and noticed the cat temp sensor light up. :)

So I guess im out.... Can anyone take me there? I would love a lift. Im located in maroubra. anyone? If not id have to let someone take some amps and give them to someone.

Majanal: thx, i have work day from 10 untill 6, so wont be able to work on the car.

Ill give you a call after 6? if I have troubles?

I just dont know how do u take off the crossover pipe and the correct tools to take it off.

    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).
    • Car is on factory injectors/z32 maf/ q45 throttle body/ z32 ecu with nistune
    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
    • yeah I was shocked when I checked my spare OEM on and as below that's how they come from Nissan. (side interesting note new NEO gearbox and replacement park lack the brass bush on the tips and its just all alloy) unsure about damage to the box currently back at 1110 to be pulled down/inspected and selector fork replaced as he built it previously and given the never before seen failure on his billet forks he is replacing it under warranty. He said he has used always OEM the keyway tab without issue for years so it could be an unlucky coincidence. I did talk to him about the sharp corners and stress concentration too. Re: hard shifts i got 7+ years out of the OEM one and the fork itself failed not the keyway. so could be bad luck as I said or an age thing + heat cycles in box and during fabrication of billet?
