Dash lights are very dim

Seems like my dash lights are very dim.

The whole of the oil pressure and half of the tacho's are always dark whenever the lights are on at night, I cant seem them.

Do I just replace the bulb? Also how can you make a switch so that you can make the dash lights brigher?

Ive got a reverse el kit here, but seems like its hard to install, due to tacho needing to be removed for the boost, this will cause the tach to be wrong 200-300rpm.

Any ideas?
