DLuded
before everyone asks me to do a search could they please read my post below because i need help with my decision i currently have a r32 gtst with full exhaust, filter, fuel ump and have a hks gt2530 and FMIC on the way. after that ill get a chip here are the options i have 1) get a nimso fuel pressure regulator for $200 and be happy with say around 210rwkw 2) get GTR injector $250, get them cleaned $150, then get a resister pack $100. all up thats around $500 3) if im going to spend $500 on GTR injectors i may as well get nismo 720cc injectos for $600 off a friiend the questions is this. do u people think i should just get the nismo regulator and see if that will push up to 220rwkw? because if i decide to get the injectors for a few more KW its going to cost that extra $500 and im a cheap arse Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/82974-are-injectors-worth-it-220rwkw-in-r32/ Share on other sites
yogi000
been in the same situation and i opted for the injectors (gtr) and reg just to make sure. i purchased a set of r32 injectors which leaked from the body of the injector. So be careful. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/82974-are-injectors-worth-it-220rwkw-in-r32/#findComment-1502065 Share on other sites

Chris32
I'd say go for injectors for sure I had stock injectors making 200rwkw and it was dodgy at best I have GTR injectors now, and at 205rwkw they are running at 70% duty, so the stockies where well past it Some people reckon 220rwkw is possible out of stock injectors, but all dynos read differant my 200rwkw stockin/inj was on a differant dyno to its current read out, so on the same dyno I reckon it would be 215+ It makes a extra 45rwkw midrange, as we could screw in heaps more timing and fuel with the safety of the bigger injectors I'd go injectors for sure Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/82974-are-injectors-worth-it-220rwkw-in-r32/#findComment-1502175 Share on other sites
DLuded
how much were the GTR injectors all up? around $500? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/82974-are-injectors-worth-it-220rwkw-in-r32/#findComment-1502181 Share on other sites
FATGTS-R
I paid $300 for mine and then $25 per injector to clean/flow test/balance etc. I didnt need the resistor pack so cant comment on there value. GTR32
am i missing something? (highly possible) you mentioned a chip but if you opt for bigger injectors you'll need a prog ecu or remapped stocker. as you know that alone will give you a power increase. if you get a used pfc for $800 that's not much more than the cost of injectors and gives you much more flex. some people have had good results with increasing pressure - within reasonable LIMITS - as a 10% increase or thereabouts puts the pressure below the upper threshold stipulated by the manufacturer in most cases.
