hey bass junky, nice work mate, just got a few questions before i say i want one for sure :)

are they gonna be scratched alot? as im planning on polishing mine like a mirror and if its got too many scratches then it wont be possible without heaps of work.

have u got any pics of the anodizing in black and other colours as im unsure how they look?

if i plan on polishing it then the symbol is probably better left off. have u got a pic of the emblem engraved into some ally yet?

sorry for the questions, just want to make sure i choose the correct stuff for my engine bay :)

how close are these to being finished?

cheers

Brad

Hey guys.

Okay, with the engraving.

I'll be speaking to my router today and getting numbers.

I'll also be going down to the anodisers to get numbers there too.

Cruiseliner. The finish on the guides is a brushed/grained style. It's hard to describe.

The attached photo is probably the best of the finish.

I hope this is okay.

Hi Bass,

I know this is probably obvious, but this example doesnt have the air scoop to the factory airbox intake, as per previous examples. Can we see the prototype with the scoop?

Cheers

Luke :P

cheers mate, im wanting one WITHOUT the airbox duct scoop thing as im using a pod setup anyway.

look forward to some engraving pics, if possible and anodizing too if u can :domokun:

ill be grabing one for sure, just need to access my options :D

thanks

Brad

Here's some pics of what the final prodcut was modelled from.

These are the available Anodising Colours.

the price for Anodising will be an extra $20.

Hi Bass,

I would want the front scoop for my series 2, running a highflow panel filter. Black anodised and engraved.

Let me know final pricing & payment method.

Cheers, Luke

Hey guys.

I'm closing the GB on the Skyline guides on Monday, so whilst they are getting made, I'll push to finish your.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I don't have much time at the moment. Work is Carazy.

But, have faith. I will come through.

No worries here Bass. I will be fitting up some electronic engine management goodies soon, so will be focussed on that over the next few weeks. The Radiator Deflector will be a nice finishing touch, and will help the Stag breathe better when I put on the twin dump pipe soon. A bit of extra time to get it looking schmick is no probs.

Cheers :)

  • 2 weeks later...

How are they going you say?

Here are a couple of pics of the modelling we have been doing.

I'll be getting a sample made up ASAP now and test fitting to a vehicle.

Shouldn't be long now.

I'm yet to check it on those skid kid. But I will before I got ahead.

PS. My draftsman and I looked as a couple of options last night before heading home.

May have a better looking option for the scoop.

Insted of bolting it to the plastic scoop bit, I'm thinking of bolting it from the underside of the guide itself.

I'll post some 3D renders later for your perusal.
