Item:12/1998 Nissan Stagea Series II RSFour 4WD Turbo

Location: Carrara, Gold Coast

Item Condition: As new condition. Only 43,000k's with no marks to interior or exterior.

Reason for Selling: Buying a house, so ditching turbos for a while.

Price and Payment Conditions: $24,000

Extra Info:

With only 44,000 kms, immaculate presentation, equipped with two sunroofs, dual airbags, the power of the R34 GTT Skyline engine, the safety features of the GTR Skyline ATTESA all wheel drive system, tiptronic-auto transmission, factory 16" Nissan R33 GTR Skyline look-alike wheels all combined with the luxury and comfort of this elegant Nissan, this car boasts practicality with power and style...

Perfect as a family car or a subtle, yet seriously powerful machine. This car holds extreme potential for modification with the powerful base engine being the RB25DET NEO from the R34 GTT Skyline, but does not scream 'look at me'. This Series II Stagea has a dyno proven 120Kw at all four wheels, 100% standard..

The car has an updated audio system consisting of a Pioneer headunit and Blaupunkt speakers. There is an option of two 10inch Blaupunkt subs and an Epsilon amp for $800 extra. This car also comes with a top of the range paging alarm system and 3 point immobiliser.

Owned by a female who is pedantic about the car and services it every 4000km using Motul oil, it is in its very best possible condition both mechanically and visually. Only reason for selling this beautiful car is that I am buying a house and cannot keep this stunner as well. Very, very regretful sale and the new owner will not be disappointed.

Sounds like the oldest scam out there. Dont listen to this...

Judging by his other 4 posts in random for sale ads, i agree krzysiu.

dont really get how its a scam, but i dont believe he is serious.

still for sale.

cheers :)

dont forget the $500 spotters fee. . tell everyone you know and if they buy, you get $500 cash.

price drop, 24k ono

PPL's - this is a top price for such a sweet vehicle. Who wouldnt want a 'R34 wagon'?

Flyn33, I bought my series 1 Stagea a few months ago (flew up to qld to see the car & do the deal, and had the car trucked back to sa) - I really wanted to buy a series 2 but didnt have the 28k necessary to grab one from qld.

Good luck with the (unfortunate) sale!

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
