My new launch technique invloves trying to slip my twin-plate rather than droping the clutch. When I drop it I get lots of wheelspin, with the slip I get a much smooter launch and less axle tramp.:P

My clutch did take a hammering with this technique though.:)

See'ya:burnout:

Awesome effort Rev210.....

That is a GREAT time.

People who ask Rev "what are your mods?", dont bother...

because rev is a GREAt driver...

he knows how to race down the 1/4 PROPERLY......

Just proves that most guys should do alot better times with more practice.....

Daniel

PS - WHat that with S-AFC

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
