Yes they will c AUS roads i think.

They are still a young car, just as we have seen

increased demand for R34's I think we will c the same

for V35 gradually, maybe compliance next year? But

I wouldn't bet on it.

They don't seem to be as sort after as R32-34 in the import

market yet. Until that happens I don't expect RAWS to comply

them. Many people (not me) don't like there Euro style shape.

I could see myself possibly getting a 3.5 sedan in the future.

Thier shape has grown on me slowly.

The V35 is a completely new lineage for Nissan, I haven't seen very many parts that swap over. That's the big bonus for R32/R33/R34, there is soooo much available, from the exotic/expensive to the generic/good value. All tastes are catered for.

The big killer is that there is no HERO car, no GTR, no GODZILLA, nothing to pass on the charisma.

:( cheers :(

so there is a workshop currently in the process to gain approval for them?

i reckon the coupe, lowered with rims and the little rear spoiler look the goods :( Saw them on the road when i was in canada/usa last... changed my perception of them once i saw them in the flesh..

i think i'd still get someone to fabricate up a tailight surround so that it leaves 2 afterburners... only see the stove-tops when braking :(

Its kind of a dead model in a way.. considering the V36 is meant to be a totally different beast and I think different shape to boot.. at least it will have the GTR at the top, which might inject some life into it as a desireable car again.

I'm really wondering if any of you actually KNOW the status.

There are about 5 workshops all over Australia claiming that they will have it soon. Some say a week, others a month.

I guess they are all dealing with a government dept. so they probably do not know themselves.....

Next Week, Next Month, in a few days....

Do you sense my frustration

Does anyone know why it is taking soooooo loooong....

WON'T BE LONG NOW GTS

ONE OF MY MATES IS HOPING TO BE APPROVED BY CHRISTMAS...

The hold up is the seatbelts as they havent got VW written on them so the belts had to be sent to Melbourne for testing, I have 2 copys of it coming to sort out for a couple of workshops.

The sooner the better for everybody, got a 2004 EVO 8 MR sitting in the show room and it will be through in about 6 to 8 weeks, I have about ten people who came in and have asked to be put on the expressions of interest list after one week.

I think compliancing is now avaliable thro Nizmo Pty Ltd, Eagle Farm in QLD. I found it on the DOTARS site. http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RAWPubSearch.asp

if ya wanna search models and workshops for compliancing

G'day Fellow,

I'm a Noob with Skyline. However, having seen the V35 on the internet. It is slowly growing on me and would be interested to know what will the market going rate be when it is release into the Australian market?

Also on the side note, what would the service be like? Could you be serviced by Nissan Australia?

If fellow SAUers could assist me with the above mentioned queries, I would greatly appreciate it! ;)

I have a Question in regards to import. As we all know the V35 compliance is not yet available. Are we allow to import a 2 door V35 into Australia and leave it in our garage until the compliance plate is ready? Is the car allow to enter Australia's shore and allow you to collect it from the port? What will the custom require ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

u can but with the risk of it being stolen, burnt etc ? no thnx

well... a RAW has to submit an import approval yes???

so i guess you have to get the workshop you will eventually get ur compliance done at, to submit for an import approval. Could be a problem if they don't want to do V35's.... maybe you can switch to another workshop? i dunno exactly how it works but was under the impression u def need a RAW to do the import approval bit.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
