Steering Wheel Locks

Found this after i done a little research "after" i bought my steeringwheel lock ...go figure

Thought it could be useful...keep in mind that it was published in 99

Can anybody recomend any other brand?

The Aunger ones are good and Choice reckon so too. Plus theyre cheap and easy to come by...

It's a misconception you can carry it around as a legal weapon.

If you're carrying it around with the intent of using it as a weapon you can get charged.

Your better off just using it in self defense and within reason if anything

another option (if you have an aftermarket wheel) is a quick release hub. then you can detach the wheel and lock it in the boot (disable the remote boot release) or take it with you if you are very keen.

i have one in my car atm and it's quite handy.

You can also get the quick release hubs now that have a locking cap on them to prevent the wheel being put back on without opening the lock....looks kinda neat too.

i would say in all honesty probably not. technically an aftermarket wheel is not either so if you already have an aftermarket wheel i don't think a quick release hub will make your car any more illegal.
