if the first option is apexi power intake try using that. i say just try them and see if it runs. have you entered in the injector compensation and lag time too? you should probably do that too.

yup tryed all option

injector compensation has ben done

but the sniffer says its running very lean and wont idle below 1500rpm

fine between 1500-3000 then super rich

chased a wiring problem to the throttle position sensor

so does anyone know for certain that you can run airflow meters with the d jetro power fc?

or is it purely map sensor

pete

does it still chirp second or what? that's the real test.

i reckon it may be time to call in an expert. i'm pretty sure you can run with AFM on DJETRO version PFC, but i can't say i've ever tried it...

I didn't think that the D-Jetro could run AFM's, is it just settings for different pressure sensor's?

I've almost finished translating a D-Jetro manual, so you could look at that.

if you have a translation could you please give us a bell

I have done 59/80 pages, unfortunatly you can only view the english on the computer (hover your mouse over the red line, and the translation comes up), the section you want is near the start, so i have translated that bit. Hope that helps

From my understanding and talking to friends in nipponland, Djetro is happiest at WOT lol. Fatz. I got mine to start the car and shit but getting decent tuning is B/S. I gave up and went back to the normal PFC with Q45 AFM.

Also the djetro is happier with a single throttle body, there is a firm here in qld who make custom TB for a little sum of money.

So the unit is back in the box until someone works out finner tuning points, as I don't need the stress atm.

    • With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.
    • Scissor Jacks are an accident waiting to happen, the only time they should be used are in an roadside flat, even then a tyre and rim should be placed underneath
    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
