Hello SK,

I have a R33GTR(Street 99% use)...what does the complete kit cost for me?

What spring rates are they? Are the springs tapered? Are the shocks coil over?

Looking for a softer ride than what I have(Ohlins).

Please PM me with the specs and costs.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sydneykid

Could you please tell me whem I can expect my kit.

I will be away for a month from the 8th of August and will not be at home.

You may have to hold on to the kit till I get back.

Need those shocks now.

Please advise delivery time

Regards

Mike

Sorry for the delay in responding, especially to PM's. The video card in my home PC died and it took me 4 days to find out what it was and fix it. So I am about 110 PM's behind at the moment and trying hard to catch up. Add that to the workload at Superior Suspension (12 to 14 hours a day, 6 days a week) and it will take me a few days to answer everyone.

Hang in there, if you have transferred money, it's safe, I am not going to run off to Brazil with it. You won't miiss out, the Group Buy isn't going to end soon as I have spent some time with Bilstein securing the shock supply for a couple of months at least.

Advanced warning, I am off to the US for 5 weeks from 1st October to 5th November. Checking out some east coast action, Detroit, Chicago, Daytona and the SEMA show in Vegas. So when I don't respond to PM's or emails in that period, I am sure you will understand why.

>_< cheers :D

Is this group buy still going?

If it is can you please PM me your phone number or a little information?

Currently the struts on my car are completely rusted out (they were japanese coilovers), so my car cannot be complied yet.....need new suspension ASAP.

bear in mind guys that hes under the pump ATM so just be patience with it. Its one of the best kit for the money. You wont get any better kit for the kind of money.

Bear in mind that he did the engineering works for nothing though. Hes trying to help us (forum people) to get the best "bang for your buck" kit. But yeah its up to you guys though. If it was me i will just wait and SK wont run away to "Brazil" cos he rips a few people in Oz for a few grand. Worth it? I dont think so. Again its up to you.

Dont flame me for this post. Im just trying to calm people down. :(:D

Regards

Yudy

Agreed with the above. However Ive decided to go with stock suspension for compliance.

One day I will look at this group buy again, hopefully when Sydneykid is less busy.

Hi All

Matt here

To Anyone who could not get through, I am now answering PMs and all questions for Gary the best I can. With the new business extremely busy, we have been flat out, however gary is off on Holidays to the USA next week for 5 weeks. This does not mean that sales will hault, as I will personally be looking after all sales and enquiries from this point on. For anyone with more technical questions, there are some I can assist with, but any that I can not will be forwarded to Gary.

So please, PM me (I will check the GB threads when possible, but PM is best - I will supply an email address and a phone number for me)

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,

I received the rear camber correction off-set bushes yesterday. I have a question regarding installation. Should I put the offset towards the top or the bottom of the pivot point. I may be over thinking this, but wouldnt this affect the rate of camber gain through the range of suspension travel? As in if the excentric is high there will be less camber gain that if it is low?

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Gary,

Can I please get a price on some urethane replacement bushes for the std Vspec R33 gtr rear swaybar and some upgraded link rods (rose joints if possible?)

Cheers,

Ryan

    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
    • I checked spark on all cylinders and they all visually have spark with the plug pulled and grounded, but plug 1 is the only one that fouled. This was a running swap that blew up and was rebuilt by a machine shop, put a new wiring specialties harness and did all gaskets, studs, and bolts while it was out.  compression is 135-150 across all cylinders. Aside from that from my understanding with the z32 ecu and maf the car should start regardless. The wiring for TPS and the dual 02 sensor/ dual knock sensor stuff shouldn’t actually stop the car from starting or even running well, (just slightly rich)  they just give fault codes. Car supposedly is supposed to start as long as you have z32 afm and ecu with the nistune base map and that’s info coming from a well known and trusted tuner who does a lot with SR/RB (Rsenthalpy). After more trouble shooting today where I’m at right now is that the cas is sending signal to the injectors they click while spinning the rotor, Fuel pressure is now set at 43psi, all cylinders have good compression and all of the plugs looked great (just wet with fuel) except for cylinder 1 which was very black (cylinder 1 has 150psi compression). all of the coils generate spark if pulled out and grounded out on the head. On the fuel pump car just pops into the exhaust. On starting fluid car will fire off. Hard to tell if all cylinders are firing off but definitley a couple. sounds like all of them but it’s only for 3-5 seconds hard to tell.
    • Final update!!! Got the front bar fitted and sprayed and all sorted now. My cutouts worked great and the indicators aren’t just falling off. 😂
    • Is this a brand new LSD? if so, have you followed any break/bed in procedure for it? Usually involves heaps of figure 8 patterns, a fluid flush.
