hey guys im currnetly searching for a new BOV, as my recent upgrades have seen the plumb back system removed. i was running a GReddy type s bov and am looking for a new atmospheric bov.

My question is, does anyone have a GReddy type RS bov, if so i am just curious as to wat noise it makes, and if you have encountered any stalling issues etc.

Opinions and recommendations on other BOV's are also welcome

cheers

Mass

i run a GReddy S type on my Rb20 and my mate runs a RS on his.

No problems with stalling at all and they pretty much sound the same.

I can't really here mine over the screamer pipe ;)

i know neither would i but my new turbo upgrades affected the way my piping was run, so i had to change some piping around the turbo meaning it was too much effort for me to make my bov plumb back again, so i decided to just leave it for the time being.

I would get the TRUST Type RS so that you can just plumb it back into the intake system should you get defected. You can buy the plumb back attachment as an optional part

Personally I wouldn't run an atmo BOV myself but...

goodluck trying to get that "optional" part.......

6 months and waiting....

PS

note to all: Not having a go at tosh or powerplay....another workshop which will go unnamed promised that the plumback adapters will arrive "next week" when I purchased the Type RS. like I said 6 months and waiting.....

Type RS sounds awesome though....mass_iv if you have the Type S with the plumback adapter and its in decent condition ill consider a swap. I do wanna plumb mine back....stock one has had it.

mass_iv its very similar to the S except it has a slightly louder sound....well its meant to because the new trumpet is meant to "magnify" the sound....well so they say on the box.

Like I said, if your is in good condition then ill do a swap...im not fussed over a $30 or so...if your keen then PM me your mobile or something and well arrange something.

I still have my stock one....which has had it but I can put it on to drive to your house or anywhere you wanna meet and give you the RS in exchange for the S.

personally I reckon the chrome and anodised blue look of the RS LOOKS better...but I really wanna plumb mine back so im willing to make that small sacrafice

cheers
