checking what? um doesnt matter going home now. hopefully dodgy battery starts. Idling prob behaves - haha sounding a bit dodgy my car hey!

Well catchya later - maybe tonight - i feel like pizza tho - pizza in front of TV chillin

It appears no one is here. Oh well, just wanted to tell you all I had a slight altercation with a curb today at work, and knocked the corner of my front bar off. Not completely, it was just hanging off, but I managed to get it up off the ground and get it home without hitting the ground.

There was a reason for tis altercation, not just stupidity. Some tool in a 4 wheel drive (not a real one, a Rav 4) had decided she would use a third of my parking spot. Me being me, having earned the best spot in the carpark could not possibly park elsewhere, so I tried to squeeze in. Well, not concentrating, basically got front bar caught on curb. Was caught pretty good, had to really rev to reverse off it.

Best part of the story is not much damage, and I went to a panel beater on the way home, asked him how to fix it and reattatch it, battered my eyelids, and he fixed it right there on the spot for nothing! Husband will never know.

I am a bad, bad woman.

hey good news - well not for my parents but for me - guy in QLD fell thru he saw the RAC report on it hmmm the old girl needs a little bit of work - he freaked and pulled out - its not that bad.

Anyway i get to keep Dino as part of my fleet for a little while longer - yay.

    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
