way it should be sneeza unfortunately there are a few guys out there that ask more questions than your parents used to before you go out and if you bump into some guy you used to know they hold it against you as some planned secret rendavous.

You going anywhere for the honeymoon Liz?

maybe we should set up our own roadside assistance - make a bit out of it :P

Ken is taking a long time to catch up - surely he knows nothing constructive has been said in the last 24 hours :)

the honeymoon is a surprise - my dad got it for us for the wedding present... Andrew knows where it is. Its overseas - 3 days in a shopping place and 5 days in a resort place - that's all I know!

Yeah andrew is really good - we have our own lives as well. I hanag out with guys from uni and its no big deal. But one thing I get pi*ssed about with him is the god damn speedway skanks that hang around the crews! But that's not his fault I guess

*sniff sniff, i smelll skkkank* (fast in furious) hahaha just master the death glare Liz they'll get the hint pretty quickly!

Sounds like your going to have a good time then :) haha start putting the boys credit card to good use in that shopping place - and if its in malaysia we all want the $5 nismo shirts the shuto boy gets :P

Your right Niz , that was a waste of 10 more minutes of my precious life.

Btw , thanks for the lunch and I will take you out and return the favour one day.

Glad to see everyone got home safe and there right

Macka , you smell:shake:

Cheers

Ken

the basics are all the same with every car. small things like intercoolers should be taught - geez one would think if they had a proper look they could see a pipe loose. Its funny if they have to do a road inspection report on an import they are all of sudden an expert in whats not right with it but on a call out that havent a clue. marlows are shocking even trying to find a battery for an R33.

ok - I'll see if i can bring back some gifts for some of you!!!

The girls that hang at speedway are such dickheads. They come up to drivers in their cfm boots and skimpy clothes and ask if they can crew and walk the car out.... its like "honey you won't make it 2 metre out onto the track with those shoes" hahahaha

beer was enough to return favour ken - my pleasure.

yes paul an i have been making up for whoring alone time lost during the week :P haha i bet u learnt a few bikini wax tips in there tho!

hahaha I didn't know my car had an intercooler - how dumb am I. I always thought an inercooler was the front mounted one... Macka has been shitting on me all day about it.

Niz - i went to get a battery for my car from marlows and they are like "why do you want that battery for a 180b datsun" hahaha

And glad to see you got home intact after being with 3 slightly drunk , always horny guys.

Your right about the white knuckle ride with Paul.

I wouldn't have gone that fast if I was him.

I have seen him drive.:P

Cheers

Ken

nah dont worry about the gifts liz just have a good time - im sure theres better things you could be doing with that time than shopping for us :P

no matter how skimpy the clothes are you aint going to look sexy with a face like a smashed crab. (*niz retracts her claws*) haha

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
