Spoke to Ross @ auto clutch (such a nice guy he is) he gave me some advice on the wheel turning in neutral. it's just inertia from the gearbox-input shaft really, nothing to worry about there..

i need a damn 8mm socket then i can see if we can take the pipe out or not

it sort of feels like its got a cut in it where it comes into the engine bay but without the 8mm socket i can't find out grrrrrr
