Good... want to hurry up and get my car finished though :) But I really need to stop spending :D I'll wait a couple more months before I order the injectors and then another month before I put them in with the wolf3d. So I reckon another 3 months and that should be done. Then just some tidy up work in the engine bay... some polished aluminium pipes and then I'll start on the exterior. first thing there is some rims :) already got 2 18x9" rims just need to get the 18x8" rims for the front.

OK smart people , where can I go to find out which Bosch pump is which

Have been told so many different things ie.

Go the 044 , try the 984 , no use the 003 ., bullshit the audi motorsport pump is the go.

Which one flows the best and price ??

Cheers

Ken

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
