wanna hear the funniest thing ..... one police officer goes to the other "whats the rego" .... "N-I-Z-M-O" "Yeah but whats the rego?" ....... "that was it" ..... "oh i thought that was the make" :D .... idrive a Nizmo model of car haha

I looked at my watch and it had just gone 12 so I thought I will just finish up what I am doing then pop out and get some lunch..... the next time I looked at my watch it was about 2.15 ..... I just had this stunned look on my face after realising that I just missed my lunch..... ohhh well I am just going to go home early :D

no takers on the car so far. In the sunday times again this week.

Might try the auto trader. Someone suggested to take the Nitrous kit off, because people are turned off by it perhaps?

Sad state we live in when people are turned off by 400+hp at the tyres :D

Hi Alex....

I know what you mean Dave.... although we all know that you installed the Nitrous kit properly and competently etc , the person walking in off the street is probably going to be a bit reserved seeing a nitrous kit on the car... peoples first interpretations of kits like that are not good when buying a car....

agreed. Nitrous is probably not a huge selling point.

people are funny things....a percentage of people who buy a line would do so because their mate said they were really fast and chopped his gemi or escort or somethin.....another probably more volumous proportion would do so because they think they look good, and hope to acheive car horn appeal without a $100,000 BMW price tag.

But NO ONE who buys one considers that they are all second hand.

and everyone is scared shitless that they will buy a lemon.

    • I downloaded the apps (for windows) and Consult 1 doesn't have this function on it for the Consult 1 plug which I'm pretty sure all Skylines have. You would think someone would have a workaround after 30 years for all Skylines which have ABS.
    • Also, I don't know the actual ABS system on the skylines, but a sneaky thing could be a piece of electronic equipment that makes the ABS think you're moving, and then same piece can send a signal for a locked up tyre... Activate ABS without slamming brakes...
    • The team at OBD2 Australia are pretty good, shoot them an email and ask them. I've dealt with them before for work stuff. I'd be shocked if it didn't work, so long as Consult can activate the ABS. But you might need to use KLine for it which would be the stopper, as I don't think that piece does KLine comms.
    • Yeah and hence my ghetto way of slamming the brakes, get the ABS to cycle, rebleed seems to be a sensible workaround.
    • Hey! Happy to help. Nothing inherently wrong with the adapter, it's more so with Brett Collins himself. He gave me a lot of incorrect information when I was in contact with him and was extremely rude when I challenged him. He stated I could not use any aftermarket twin plate clutches except for his own, not to use the dush shield, bla bla bla and it was all BS.  Collins stated to cut roughly 14mm's off the housing, I took off 15mm to make room for the dust shield. I would confirm with whatever adapter manufacturer you're using.
