Ahh right, oh well, sh*t has been booked and paid for already....

looks like we will be spending alot of time on the trains then  <_<

Whats the entry fee for TAS roughly?

Roughly between 2000 and 3000yen per day.

But you could probaly get in without paying.

If you guys want the tip, we were able to get free internet access via a tonne of wireless hotspots that were visible from our hotel due to the communications building over the road.

If you want good accomodation at the right price, 10 mins to TAS, a walk to Upgrage and 15 mins from Crystal and Top Secret, try this place.

hey hey,

that url, is there an english version? I have booked my flight , leaving bris on the 12th. And i was thinking of staying at the Mecure which works out to about $180/room for 2 ppl. How much is the place you posted?

they are a convenience store chain in japan. like 7 eleven etc. They are everywhere. best way to get your tickets and get in no worries is to buy in advance from there. They were i think 1500 or 1800 yen this year.

are you coming out for it monkey boy? :)

if so i wouldn't mind meeting up with you again. Nick and I will be there. I don't know how keen i am on standing outside in the cold for others again. i think i learnt my lesson last time.

i see you have bought a 32 GTST? good man, tell us about it.

Im not organising another public SAU meetup either - Richard and I stood around for close on an hour waiting for you bastards that didnt show in the freezing cold.

Circus Monkey: Pm me to organise to meet with Richard and I and we will work something out.

couldn't have expressed it better myself! :)

you guys will be fine without nick and I. Lawsons are in heaps of places like 7-11, but you can just buy your tickets at TAS. I think it's only a 500 yen saving anyway.

as for the parts shops, your best bet is to buy an option magazine. find a shop in your area that you want to go to. take it to the hotel reception and they will write out some insructions for you - like which station to get off at etc. That is what we have done before and it works like a charm :) I don't know if i want to go in a group cause if there is a set of turbos i want to buy, and nick wants to buy, and two other people want to buy it may get ugly! lol. rock paper scissors is never pretty when i loose :)

have fun boys, and just be wary of the vending machines in back alleys, they can be a little rough.

yup, we will be executing some wicked payback that's for sure. I've been working out twice a day in perparation. ok well maybe not, but i have been getting drunk and bitching about it, and talking myself up. that is a start.

Yep, I will be there for the weekend in some form. :D

Just a standard R32 GTST(project car). I mean you can pick them up for pocket money now.

That asshole vending machine nears toys 'r' us is going down this year Baron

Did the vending machine abuse the two of you in some way? :(

good man on the GTST. i looove 32 GTST. such a great car. cheap, light nice to drive. they are basically like a silvia only better.

Yeah, the vending machine robbed me, then put a beat down on nick and broke his watch. i never expected to witness that kind of violence in japan :D

It is a good car, but i feel the DC2 gives more raw feedback, driving it.

So your scared for life by the vending machine? :D:(

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
