haha yeah mate

decided to give her a wash on the weekend and took some nice shots on the nice n green grass :D (since i received my new digi camera :D )

i dont think dad was too happy when i spun the tyrs on it though, my tyres r bald as a shaven *****

AA is like realistic...you have to train n shit to progress if i remember correctly....

its army based, not so much terrorism vs anti terrorism.

only ever played the training part though...so not sure what the maps are like or where they're based

Pretty much like cs, but shits all over cs to be honest

reason being is that it is heaps realistic, 3 bullets n ur dead, no instant spawn, many different maps, hospital based, artic forrest based, warehouses, heaps

yes was first produced by the army as a recrtuitment tool and has so far progressed

the training is nothin like actually playing

only "downside" is there is no offline, everything is online playing

  • 2 weeks later...

Hiya guys....

I havent tried Counter Stirke: Source just yet, got the Steam engine exactly 5 weeks ago and have been solely playing Day of Defeat: Source, which is AWESOME.

Im gonna add the [sAU] to my Sgt. Tangles character. I always use the middle machine gun (AK47) known as Support. getting quite aok at it as well.

If you come across me say g'day, and I'll let you in on a secret, Sgt. Tangles has Attention Deficit Disorder and cant stay still, so you'll see me Running and not Camping. :O

But I'll try CS Source next month when I have unlimited broadband and not capped at 500mb.

Brendan

what fps do u guys get on ur source? mine is about 30 - 40 pretty hopeless. ;)  probly coz im having 512 ram.

FPS based stuff in CSS is related to your graphics mainly dude. Decent 512mb ram should be sufficient for frames better then 40. So it's definately graphics. make sure fps_max 100 is on aswell ;)

ive got it on the highest detail possible....

100+ fps

Obviously a half decent graphics card.

I work at a LAN Cafe as a 2nd job, and I play CSS there quite a bit, I will most probably be [sAU] BR3TT :)

I 1.6 at home for the change, as always [sAU] BR3TT will be in place.

Hope to catch one of you guys, I always whore in Game Arena Dust 2 Arena.

;D

    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
