Wow..VERY nice work!!

Just a quick question- having recently got a line of defects in my close to stock 33, how the hell do you avoid police attention in something as awesome as that??? Surely its a problem for you especially with those plates??

havent been pulled up yet .... exept once buy the pig on a bike on his way home tried to tell me he was trained in estimating speeds after i laughed at him he opened his wallet and coins fell down the side of my car ... thats police hospitality 4 ya .... i then proceded to argue how he could estimate my speed when he was a kilometre away and on a road bike ... after he told me the good old, i am in a good mood tonight so i will lwt u go .. not i dont have a radar and my wifes at home probably with another man so i cant stay and argue routine he then called me a hoon i said to him in a closing sentence ..... i am an enthousiast does that make me a criminal ......he then replied the number plates leave much to the imaginationand away he went.....

god bless him for just doing his job......

Hmm...maybe its reverse pyscology then, get the most modified car around, with plates that say "pull me over, i street race" ( not that i'm saying you do :) ) and they stay off your back.. interesting :)

Guess you've been lucky..or i've been unlucky...or a combination of both :P

Anyways back to topic - awesome car. 'nuff said B)

thats before i put 19k into the engine finished it a month ago, 13sec out of the stock engine i had in it before the rebuild and running 19inch wheeles that day who wouldnt do a 13 now thats history... but thanks for reminding me...

Plans on a brake upgrade at any time at all perhaps?

That was the first thing i did when i got my car, slotted dba 4000 n 'track' pads

Mate awesome car, wat mod plates u have to get also wat engineers certificates u got?

no mod plates or engineer certificates but yea i had hopes of a 10 sec at jambo but of coarse just when you think everythings ok the gearbox lockes up and when it did go i couldnt get second so with thAT in mind i bought a 6 speed dog box going in this week i am just waiting for the other wastegate and turbo from jap land so soon it will be twin turbo tdo625g and twin 48mm trust external wastegates with screemer pipes its gonna be loud as fu*k...i want to put a 4 inch straight through exaust..

i understand y people say how come so much money on a gtst but once i start building somthing i can stop ... but year i no i need the big brakes soon .....

I need a lift back from Willowbank when I destroy my box so you should come out. I can't be seen in anything that does slower than a 12 now. It's an image thing.

BTW, nice car....I am kinda the same....the only thing that stops me from spending more money on mine is the lact of it. I pretty much did what I could afford the the engine internals but I would have liked to do some other crap. At the end of the day I will be happy if I do an 11 on an engine I built.

I also admire your large wallet with the worn out edges.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
