Hey mate.

Starts with the paint- midnight purple- GTR colour.

factory rear strut brace.

differnt badging, and different embroidery in the interior

also short shifter from factory.

not alot, but its different from ur average skyline.

cheers mate.

all im saying is good luck mate

i just bought 1. 40th anniv :)

Yesterday you said you paid jap spec service fees to ask them to get you one, today you say you bought one...hmm...that's fast ;)

Then what for ask for pictures from that guy?

BLO1...... YOU ARE A CHAMPION!!

that is a fair point you raised there.

i said, straight up i'm looking for 26,000 ono

he gets me to send him pictures of the car, and then says its asking too much.

mate, time wasters.....what can i say.

thanks for backing me up BLO1.

Are you sure the front bar and rear spoiler are aftermarket? Those look like the factory 98 Type-MR items to me. That is by far the best GTS-T nissan ever made.

edit: See heres a completely factory 98 type MR:

Sorry to mess up your thread but i think the fact that these items are factory standard adds value to this car. This is pretty much a series 3 GTST.

sewid i think those are GTR front bar and rear spoiler. The 1998 GTST models have the same front bar and spoiler as the normal series 2 models. The only cosmetic differences are the badging on the seats and the 40th anniversary sign on the outside of the car, correct me if i'm wrong guys.

pretty sure you're spot on. may have had the option to upgrade to the GTR wing, but not the front bar etc....

case closed dezz... cheers man.

ok so it looks a little like this...

it's a 40th anniversyary model, but it has a MR Body kit...

thats a GTR rear spolier and MR front bar..

every one agree?

hey DEZZ, out of interest where did you get the pic od the 40th anniversary model skyline? cheers..

Any body wanna buy it, price negotiable. I'll even through in the kitchen sink.

Ooh.. it also has a little badge on the c-pillar!

Other than that, it looks JUST like my s2! (although my wheels don't sit inside the guards so much)

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
