Hey Guys,

I promise I'm not speechin again.

When I first signed up on this forum about 2 months ago I saw pics of this dude who got his dash/sourrounds layered in Carbon-Fibre. The post also said to PM him if you like the look of it and he'll put me in touch with a guys that does this sort of stuff. I've been looking for weeks for this post but cannot find it.

Does anyone know who could fullfill my Carbon-Fibre fantasy?

I found a place in Melbourne that does that kind of stuff. Here is link to their site: http://www.dashboardcentre.com.au/product_...products_id=140

E-mailed them and got a response:

To coat all of the parts you see in the web page would cost $548. (incl GST).

You would need to remove them and send them to us, allow 1-2 weeks for processing, and we will return them to you with a 3 year warranty.

Do not hesitate to call me or email for more information

Cheers, Harry

Pretty pricy if you ask me...

go to www.nismo.com.au and check out their interior products for GTST. carbon console kit is $295, but you have to fit it yourself. i am thinking of getting it and getting someone to do it for me.

i saw that a while ago and was interested...have you found any bigger pics of it so that you can actually see the effect it has?

I've done the same to my dash, love the result, opposed to the crappy peeling black rubbish.

I paid $300, but did all the prep work myself, must say, for the extra $$$ you get your money's worth!!! Bitch of a job!! <_< Gives the car a nice edge and draws lots of compliments.

Post up some pics later

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
