I was ther only as a spectator for a change but I was overall quite happy with the way the day was run it seemed as a low key affair but it was a enjoyable atmosphere the missus and I suffered a little sunburn but no complaints for the day.

It's true that some ANDRA officials aren't too interested in Sport Compact, but I have to tell you that the slack attitude to water box and other details happens all the time in regular ANDRA meets, too.

And I've seen ANDRA officials bugger up Top Fuel runs at the start line more than once .. it does happen. Regarding the error about putting the black separator board on the tree for eliminations, there would have been no rematch or re-running of the races if the same had happened in regular ANDRA racing. Let's not be paranoid!

I had an awesome day with a new PB of 13.41/ trap 102 (prev 13.71/ trap 108)

Cant thank Bezerkly Automotive and Adrian (2RISMO) enough for their encouragement, support and sharing their pit crew with me.

Adrian your zed launching tuition ROCK'S! I appreciate you taking the time to teach me. I have learnt more from one day's racing with you guys than the entire year on my own!

I feel privelidged to have lined up with BUSTER, Twoogle and 2RISMO....blown to the weeds is an understatement :D , awesome cars..

Didnt get to run with Daniel (RNMENC) tho ???

Scrutineering had a bit of a giggle at her 1690kg weigh in.. :P

and I'd been working on making her lighter just that morning..turfed all the barbies, boogie boards and 13 pairs of shoes!

I have met so many wonderful people through motorsport and days like last Saturday make me feel like one lucky lady! thanks guys :D:):)

PS: Twoogle, I would of happily given you my AFM had I known you needed it ;)

    • I live in Thangool I cannot buy E85 fuel there or Biloela not many servo's sell it Rockhampton the  Ampol in Gracemere won't even sell 98 , it's hard to own a high performance car in CQ and NQ .
    • Sounds like a good excuse for a trip to Australia! But yeah, trying it out is probably the best way to go about it. Please report back what you find.
    • Well as I will have both S1 and S2 front parts i will see what works best out of the two. Im not fussed if i need to drill extra holes, and im a big fan of Nutserts/rivet nuts and a nice painted dome head bolt as a way to hold stuff in place where plastic clips have broken and are hard to source new ones
    • Yeah truthfully it seems like the headlight supports for the ALTIA and S2 should be the same, but they aren't. I can only guess that the grill area of the Altia bar is different to the grill area of the S2 bar. Either that or it's due to the S1 bar having an angle up to the center bar that the Altia doesn't, or something. That said, I recently bought an Altia bar myself, and I fit it over the S1 brackets and thought "Yes, this will all work fine" so even as I doubt my own words as I post, I also daresay you'll be okay.
    • Me too. Apparently the new version of Invision will allow some customisation so look forward to a 'Love' reaction and a new 'Like' icon.
