Hey Pulp don't worry about your reaction time unless you want to beat someone, if you are just after your personal best time, the reaction time isnt counted into your 1/4 time so you can launch whenever you want... but don't keep people waiting too long

Nice to meet everyone last night.

I ran a first time out of 13.1 @ 105mph on 12psi so I was happy not to break anything and learn alot (ie learn my clutch slipping point!)

Nice to meet everyone and put faces to names!

See you round.

PS: Big thanks to TOPAZ for the loan of the helmet...

no probs man, didn't think I was gunna get it back there for a while...

You got a 13.1 at 105mph and I got a 13.5 at 105mph....did you have a good start?, coz I know I didn't get 1 decent start out of the 4 I had...

good to meet a few of the guys last night(i was in the gun metal grey auto r33), i really enjoyed myself. Ended up with the final run of the night being my best of 14.359, 2.359 60' at 160.21 km/h, not to bad for a auto. very happy with that (intercooler did its job) since couldnt crack 14.7 without it.

Fiona - congrats on your PB :D

Thanks :D It made my night haha (for the record, 13.2 @ 108 mph). I know I shouldn't expect too much from it when it's not running properly, but my heart is set on a 12 haha!!! Once it's tuned it should be similar to rhianne & jeremy's.

Was nice to meet everyone last night, I had loads of fun :) Thanks for organising it!

I was there specatating last night looked like a good turnout...that Black R34 GTR was Gorgeous!

and plenty of 32 GTR's as well B)

Although I was surprized at there MPH,s I thought they'd be a bit quicker over the line.....? :D

I thought mine was fairly stock but seems to run 10kmh faster over the line..!..?

Could the 32 GTR drivers post your Mods, HP, 60ft times etc

Cheers

Lindsay

Lindsay from Atwell? I remember you from R31SkylineClub, I still want a ride in your car!

That'd be me :)

Welcome to pop over anytime for a spin, although Passenger seatbelt needs fixing as it wont retract so maybe not a good idea atm :O:)

Lindsay,

My car is in desperate need of a tune so I don't think my specs are very helpful.

310ps @ all 4 wheels on 1.0 bar boost with boost controller, air filters, exhaust, HKS twin plate clutch w/ lightened flywheel, mechanical lsd in rear, GReddy pipe kit and mines rom.

Best time is a 13.2 @ 108mph w/ 2.0 sec 60ft (lousy I know). Car is getting far too much fuel though. Timing was put back to stock after engine rebuild so I wouldn't damage anything, and fuel mixtures set a bit rich.

Now ready for a proper tune and a bit more timing. I'm hoping for a mid 12 after that.

times wernt great but eh i dont really mind only thing that pd me was my damn 2 ta 3 shift ill get it one of these days

gota stop linin up gainst gtrs tho make me look even slower

For the R32 GTR's I was the slowest :)

Jeremy/Rhianne - 12.6/12.9

CJ23WA - 13.1 (Sorry, forgot your name dood)

Fiona - 13.2

Me - 13.5 :(

I know I can go faster and get a lower 60' time, but my clutch was wiffy. I'd also like to know how much power CJ and Rhianne's GTR has...both gotta be over 300hp I rekon ;)

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
