I have just last week started driving my r32 GTSt 4 door. I love it!!!! :(

Few little Qs?

When I start it it takes a few starter motor cranks before it goes, is this normal? It is only 2 or 3 seconds but it is consistant?

What is the standard boost? and is the guage in pounds?

Sht the thing likes to rev, am I straining the motor on the occational rev to 6500-7000 RPM, it just gets there so quickly and it loves it!!!!

Thanks

Wal

Hi Wal,

1. Your battery might be a little on the small side or the CCA too low

2. Try a search for GTSt standard boost but the gauge is mmhg (x100) iirc - the units are printed on the face of the gauge

3. If it's below redline then you are fine. Just don't do it on cold fluids and remember that the engine will obviously wear a lot faster when operating at high RPM.

Great to hear you're enjoying your R32 :)
