[edit:PRICE DROPPED TO 15k for this price CALL ME 0410 532 548.]

Time has come, regretful sale of my car... This thing ain't a beauty queen but I've spent many hours and coins on getting it good - I did never intended on selling it, it's just had head recondition and service last week by Nathan Grey Imports (receipts) as the latest thing. I'm selling it to pay off gambling debts :)

2 way mechanical diff

Running Motul 8100 5/40 engine. Redline MT90 gearbox. Shockproof Heavy diff., Motul RBF600 for brakes Changed at reasonable intervals (3000-5000km for engine)

Pulled just under 200rwkw at Unigroup with many people commenting on my the power curve (it's excellent). Tuned safely to 12.1:1 - with cams could easily see 230rwkw and with more aggressive tuning you could probably hit 240rwkw with great response and a fat curve.

The car is also fully engineered in NSW.

Current issues:

Scratched front bar (usual drift front bar)

Reverse lights not working (will fix before sale!)

Squeeky brake pads (typical)

Small rock hole in left hand headlight assembly (can fix before sale!)

Warped rear rotor - just annoying sound sometimes

Pics - http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=124467

Stereo system NOT listed, pictured, or included at this price- but I can negotiate on this (whoever gets the car gets to keep the sound deadened front doors regardless). Drink holders also not included (not negotiable on the drink holders!!) :)

If you're interested please pm me or email tom at coolchaos fullstop com - I'm on the North Shore in Sydney.

Hey buddy nice lookin cefiro there, May i ask why it only has a SR20DE gearbox and not a SR20DET gearbox? Are they the same? whats the deal?

and good luck with the sale!!!!!

Gday thanks for the interest.

The SR20DE and SR20DET gearboxes from a S13 are -exactly- the same. The logic for me getting a SR20DE gearbox was that it wouldn't be as thrashed as one from a DET.

A bit of info for prospective buyers.

Tom has covered every aspect of this car. Since he has had it he has gone over it with a fine toothed comb and fixed every single thing on this car with no expense spared. He is an honest guy and will tell you everything about the car.

I have driven the car and it is the tightest, toughest feeling machine to drive. Boost comes on quick, brakes are excellent, steering and suspension are direct and very precise.

It is a very tough car.

Tom I wish you wern't selling it. But to who ever is interested in this car it will not fail to please. you will need a grinectomy after going for a ride in it.

It is not a show pony. It looks serious and goes even more serious...

Hey thanks guys - It IS sad. Very sad.

Nic it goes better now with the head rebuilt!! It's so much smoother too :)

If you buy it before christmas I'll chuck in a free Professor Sheepdog BOV (installed or not is up to you). If you're a SAU financial member and buy before christmas I will ALSO provide an unnamed security system (includes remote central etc) with the car (value $500+, however I WILL NOT under any circumstances leave the immobilisation points plugged in, you WILL have to get the door sensors + imm points installed by an auto electrician.. this is for my security).

Incase anyone is interested this is what I was going to do with the car next-

- oil cooler

- more gauges

- cams + rocker arm stoppers

- cross drilled rotors (when the current rotors run out)

- roll cage

C'mon people this deal is good!

Think about it.. engine transplant, gearbox transplant, aftermarket turbo and all the bolt ons, all the suspension bits, big wheels, engineering in NSW (FULLY engineered), it's been through blue slip, and it's been in the country and you can see and touch it before buying... Any parts for the engine you can get for any non vvt SR20, any suspension parts from a S13/R32, electrics R32... the only thing thats unique to a ceffy is the panels which most J-wreckers are starting to get anyway.

Also - I've booked it into Nathan @ Grey Imports tommorrow to have a look at a couple of things like the oil weap (I think it will be a case of a new washer for the oil sender) and the rear rotors (machine so they aren't as squeeky). It'll also be getting a wheel alignment.

C'mon how good am I ?? Buy it up people.

Gday, thanks for the interest. My location is in the first post - North Shore.

If you're serious, call me... I should warn you though I'm not going to allow test drives without deposit anymore... Nothing personal, I'm just over people with no intention of buying the car what so ever wasting my time and theirs for god knows what reason. My number is 0410 532 548.

Cheers.

I've moved back to my parents house you sick f**kers because noone is buying my car.

C'mon people need to clear debts and have money for bond and stuff so I can move.

This car is a fair bargain. I'm re-regoing for NSW people so you'll get a full years of rego too. Those interstate if you want to buy this car and skip rego I'll take the price of rego off the car.

Taking offers (not stupid ones)... 0410 532 548 - call if serious. No test drives without deposit.

    • Per Mark Roberts of Sonictune: Mark Robert Author At this time, no. No ETA either 2016-17 models. You will be able to purchase and install a 2018.5+ TCU though   TCU purchasing and pricing info! As we near the release of TCU tuning, I am going to answer some questions I get asked often.   What do I need for TCU tuning? At this time, you will need a 2018.5+ TCU to be able to tune. If you have a 2016-to early 2018, you will need to replace your TCU with the newer version. One good way to know if your TCU is good is if you have auto upshift in manual mode in 1st gear around 6500 rpms. If your manual 1st gear goes to 7k rpm and will hit the rev limiter unless you shift, you have the older TCU.   Why do I need to buy another ecu license/phone flash if I already have it on my ECU tune? The TCU is its own computer module. It is completely separate from the ECU. Because of this, you will be required to purchase a TCU license and, if your tuner has it, the phone flash license required to tune it via phone/bluetooth.   Do I need TCU tuning? TCU tuning is NOT required. However, the faster your setup, the more it will assist in track and dragy time consistency.   If I’m ECU tuned by (tuner A) can I get my TCU tuned by (Tuner ? Yes, since it’s a different module and a completely separate flash, you can have two different tuners. However, it is highly recommend that you have both tuned by the same tuner. For me, my TCU tuning will directly complement my ECU tuning style and features and running my ECU and another TCU or vice versa MIGHT cause some issues. At this time and for the foreseeable future, I will only be tuning my current ECU tuned customers TCUs.     I have a SYVECS AWD controller. Do I still need it? Yes! The AWD controllers main job is to control your AWD system. However, with TCU tuning, you will no longer need the auto-shift function as that will be done through the TCU. The AWD controller will still be very beneficial for racers looking to maximize traction on the launch.     Shift schedule changes: holding gears longer at lower pedal input as well as max shift rpm changes. Please note, the new ECU race rom coming out will address 90% of the shitty drivability issues these cars have through custom maps from myself and Racebox—as well as others I am sure.   Increase shift speeds: as seen in the videos I’ve been posting, the TCU shifts much faster once tuned.   Increased shift pressures: as also seen in the videos, much firmer full throttle shifts.

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
    • What ECU are you running? This is probably the biggest question. If it's a PowerFC, I'd probably change the ECU and get something newer that will handle the injectors in a nicer way.
