Hi guys,

i just need some input and help on how to get good power gains in a stock GT-T R34. Although i want to try keep the car as reliable as possible, even though they are not that reliable when they are stock. As the car comes stock at 206kw at engine, an increase to 250kw at engine would be good. I have been told that intercooler and exhaust upgrades are the way to go as they give power gains and keep the car reliable as it does not put much pressure on the rest of the stock parts. Also what is a good boost level that the car should be run on to give best results of power although keep pressure of the stock parts such as the factory turbo. Also in the tiptronic auto, is it worth putting a quick shift kit to make the car faster.

Thanks Pauly.

lol, you want the CHEAPEST and BEST? they do not really go hand in hand champ :P

300rwkw plus cheap and reliable? good luck! you will pretty much have to do EVERYTHING bar a full rebuild just to make that power let alone sustain it. every single support and power making part on your car will have to be changed, you name it: turbo, zorst, cooler, injectors, computer clutch fuel system. the only way you can save money is by getting either cheapest brands (in which case forget reliable) or finding second hand good stuff, which may take a while.

good luck.

dude do a search.

250kw at the engine is easy.

Exhaust, FMIC, and powerfc with the boost control kit, and a good tuner will get you more than that and reliably.

I ran 210rwkw on my R33 SII for 12 months and had not a single problem. Compression tests showed no engine wear. I think 210rwkw is roughly 260 - 270 at the engine. MOre than enough to smoke ls1s and keep up with Ls2's.

as he has auto no powerfc or aftermarket ecu. they you will get is around 230rwkw ish (260kw at the flywheel)

piggyback fuel (safc or emanage)

piggyback ignition (emanage or sitc)

bigger fuel pump

boost controller

hiflow r34 turbo

480cc injectors

fmic

cold air intake

3" turbo back exhaust

3" split dump and front pipe combo

3" hiflow cat

some good tyres

auto shift kit and bigger trans cooler

should end up costing you around $6000 ish once tuned and fitted
