AFM and BOV's

I have a type 3 BOV which vents externally, as most people know, the r32 stall when decelarating suddenly because the afm needs to have a reading when backing off.

Know to eliminate this problem can the afm be put on the cooler piping, and still run the BOV?

no you need to adjsut the settings on you s-afc tomake it work properly dont put your afm on the cooler piping.

if it was a vl may be but not in a skyline

HKS make a module that stops this from happening. I think its around $150, called EIS, Electronic Idle Stabiliser or something similar.

i think u should position your blow off valve to the cooler pipes and leave the airflow meter , hope im right

wouldn't it take less time/money/effort to just sell the bov and get a GFB Hybrid Bov which plums some air back and vents the rest out so that you still have a psshht sound and the AFM still functions properly.

yes sell the atmo venting bov they sux!

and if u put the afm after the turbo then u will be reading the high pressure after the turbo and not whats coming in from atmosphere at atmos pressure!
