Oil On Fmic Piping

I was just replacing the parkers in my car, (if they blow again they can stay that way, what a bitch!) and i noticed on the outlet of my intercooler i had a whole heap of oil that had been running along the pipe. It looks like it had been leaking from the silicon seal (or non seal by the looks of it). I have also noticed that ive lost a bit of max boost, was 0.7 bar now around 0.6. Could this be leaking from the seal, should i be concerned about his oil?

I'm no expert but could just be some blow-by. Install a catch can. If you are thinking of boosting it up in the future definatly get a catch can as the oil will cause hoses to blow off under boost

Loss of boost could be cotributed to ur cooler fudged up with oil!

Take off the inlet hose to the cooler and have a look. Good luck with it anywayz
