  1. Hello, Ive purchased a GT2530 turbo from yahoo auction which was listed for Skyline RB's. It arrived yesterday and noticed that the exhaust housing was nothing similar to rb20/rb25... I was wondering if anyone could identify the exhaust housing for the turbo so I can sell it. If anyone wants it, you can have it for $900ono. The little Garrett plate has seemed to be snapped off the turbo, so cant identify it with any model numbers.. It has a T3 flange, just the exhaust housing doesnt match up with standard rb20/rb25 dump pipe.. Hopefully someone can recognise it or it will become an expensive paper-weight Cheers Patrick
  2. Theres an unmarked black r32 with chromes and P-Plate hanging near the license plate in NSW. There's a picture of it in one of the zoom magazines. Not sure which month hehe Lets hope vic pol dont get the same idea
  3. will you be at the stand? or sell it outside of autosalon? Im sure everyone would love to see a banged up dirty r32 turn into magic with the use of mothers products
  4. Update; The turbo has a T3 flange but the exhaust housing appears to be different from rb20/rb25.. Guess i got burnt all the way from Japan, risks of buying from overseas... If anyone can work out what type of dump pipe will fit onto the turbo you can have it for $900 Not happy
  5. imageshack is playing up, Let me upload them onto SAU
  6. $100?! to change coilpacks jeez some mechanic splitfire coilpacks sit ontop of your sparkplugs. Just take off the cover in the middle of your engine bay, pull out the black coilpacks and replace with the new blue ones. Only issue is just moving the cross-over pipe but thats no trouble at all
  7. lol wtf? you met mel from SkylinesAustralia, if you were driving a prius you would have never been on this forum and hence never met her
  8. Item:HKS GT2530 Turbo for RB Condition:Awesome condition Price:$1000 To Fit: Skyline RB Location:Ferntree Gully, Victoria Contact: PM or reply in thread Comments: For sale is a HKS GT2530 for Skyline. Purchased to fit on my R32 GTST but have changed plans.. After $1000, for a quick sale. Prefer Pickup or meet half way in Melbourne Shaft play is very very minimal, probably normal for these turbo's. Has a hole in the exhaust housing for a temp sensor. Comes with actuator which looks like to be adjustable (has thread on the rod and some bolts?) Awesome, responsive turbo for r32 gtst which should gain you 210kw+ atw Grab yourself a bargain!! Specs: 6 compressor fins 10 turbine fins
  9. if thats what nissan aus came up with, i doubt i will have any better luck. Better off posting the vin in the thread, perhaps someone else would be able to find the real part number.
  10. give us your vin, ill try and run a fast check on it. Although Nissan Aus should be able to find part number via your VIN number. Its how they found brake master cylinder part number for my car
  11. hehe what an awesome opportunity, too bad my car is full of paint chips and scuffs Hook us up with Mothers PowerPolish. Will compliment my Mothers wax attack buffer & PowerWax
  12. yeah this is traction tyres, who fit them and have regreased them before.. Went in today and told me its the bushes fault and not their installation.. Ive sent an email to superpro asking them if the squeaking is normal..will see if they respond hehe. Good to know that you had the same kit installed by the same workshop.. I might tell them that next time i see them
  13. hmmm well this has turned around quickly. Good thing the turbo is still on its way from japan So if i need new water/oil lines, would a kit like this suit the car+turbo? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=150296969010
  14. cheers for info, at the moment, if i have a full car load, the 9inch's scrub on the lip over bumps. Once the lip is rolled, that should gain me another 10mm's, but im concerned whether that will be enough room for the 245/40's.. Spoke to a tyre/suspension workshop today and he suggested that the 9inch with 245/40's wont fit due to the +30 offset. His opinion was to go 235/45's (same as my front wheels) so that way i can rotate them to minimize wear... Anyone have 245/40's on a 9inch +30 rim? (ie. R33 GTR rims on a r32 gtst) Thanks..
  15. I have a c-west gt wing which came with my car; Will be for sale along with boot once i paint the new one.. Although this might be in a month of 2..
  16. does it feel like the car is wobbling side to side? I had similar problem with my old factory clutch. Had a new clutch put in + flywheel machined etc and it disappeared I think its related to an unbalanced flywheel but i could be wrong..
  17. darkest legal (35% light) isnt dark at all. I went with 18% from Tint-a-car, best percentage. No problems seeing out at day/night Only slight issue was looking down a dark unlit street to my right when doing a turn. But other than that its fine.
  18. Hey, Ive had superpro adjutable camber bushes fitted into my r32 gtst and i constantly get squeeking noises. Ive been 3 times to my suspension place, which pulls them out, regreases and aligns etc, but the problem keeps coming back. Does anyone have same problem with superpro? My suspension place also fits/supplies whiteline camber bushes on plenty r32's and they never have squeaking issues... Cheers
  19. +1 for mongoose M80 Although more south east, http://www.stylyn.com/ Located in Boronia. Spent whole day pulling apart dash to hide alarm. Professional job, plenty of people recommend.
  20. cheers for the quick responses. Im looking into getting some Bridgestone adrenalin's. So the majoriy saying to stick with the 9inch's but with 245/40's? Anyone happen to have any pictures of +30 9inch with these tyres? Cheers
  21. Hello all, Currently have a problem and was wondering what would be the best choice. On my R32 GTST i have; Rear: 235/45/r17 on 9inch +30 rims. With this setup, the tyres are slightly stretched on rims which slightly stick outside the guards (-0.5~ camber (adjustable camber bushes)) I was planning on putting on some 245/40's or 255/40's but most likely they would not fit under the guards of the gtst.. Problem is, id like more traction and to lower the car. With the stretched tyres, ive noticed a loss of traction and if i lower the car the rims/tyres wont fit without alot of camber/stretch. So, my other option is to get a pair of 8inch +30 rims and fit either 225/45's or 235/45's 225/45's on 8inch 235/45's on 8inch The 235's also seem to stick out a bit..which would be the maximum size for a 8inch rim Finally; Would it be better to; 1. Stay with the 235/45's stretched onto 9inch rims? 2. Try and fit 245/40's onto 9inch rims (anyone done this before on a gtst?) 3. Use 225/45's onto 8inch rims 4. Use 235/45's onto 8inch rims As my car will be tuned for 210kw~ atw, id prefer to have a decent amount of traction for track days etc Any help would be great Cheers Patrick
