    Got a less restrictive cat. So it did make a difference. Next on the list is intercooler pressure drop test

    Well. Now we are making 232kw at 13 pound because the gate opens early. But this is without det on a Unigroup dyno. So other dynos may read a bit more. They did a touch up tune and the car is showing extremely linear response. Which is good

    There is about 5mm pre load. Will go in and do a pressure drop test at some point.

    Gentlemen, Did decat test. Ran 235kw at 13psi with no det on Unigroup dyno which apparently reads a bit lower (that's another argument). Still losing boost from 17-->13psi. Tao recommended pre loading actuator. Checked bov for leaks and did a run with it blocked off. Bov is fine. They don't seem to think it's cooler yet. Still some sort of restriction which is opening gate and preventing boost from being held.

    Came with the hyper gear turbo set at 17psi. It's also internally gated

    That's what I said. But I have to go through the detective work with the tuners which is a costly and painful process Although they are both great to deal with.

    He sure did drop the exhaust. The catco 3" metal high flow cat was brand new and installed by dvs. Hence why he dropped the muffler only. Jjr dump front pipe also 3" bell mouth brand new installed by him. Unigroup reckons even new cats can cause restrictions. We will see tomorrow I'll keep you all updated

    Took it to Unigroup. They reckon it may be the high flow metal cat I installed. Testing tomorrow

    Lucky I replaced all gaskets and studs. This exhaust one was getting close

    Thanks for the support and kind words. A friend has helped me squeeze in with Unigroup to test for restrictions tomorrow as jez is going overseas and has ran out of time. Big props to dvs for the huge amount of work done to get the car going. And big thanks to Joey and Ivii for helping me squeeze in at unigroup. I drove the car down the f1 to seven hills. And even at though I didn't reach the power I wanted, holy shit was it a different car. So punchy much sound. Loved it.
