  1. I'm pumped. Nistune and id1000 dropping it off on 7th feb for tune Just completed the major service Bearings Seals Thermostat Timing belt Water pump Usual filters etc Hi flow panel filter Fuel filter
  2. I'm interested in coming around and helping out Thanks, sandy
  3. It's the fan shroud that makes the difference. Use the stock fan without a shroud. I guarantee you will have the problem again. The fan shroud prevents the fan sucking in air around the radiator (path of least resistance) and instead makes the fan pull air through the radiator.
  4. Isn't timmy or someone doing that in on e of the build threads. His car used to be a white gtt. But now looks like a black gtr
  5. I was over getting the hazy yellow headlights and re doing it every 6 months. In my experience the uv spray/sand kits will get cloudy again eventually and won't look good if you don't spray it in thin even coats I used these guys: http://www.uticolor.com.au/contact-nsw.html#Hills Specifically the guy that does Blacktown He did the usual sanding etc and then applied this sealant thing meant for paint. (He is a spray painter by trade) it's been over a year and the flakey or yellow stuff hasn't come back in the slightest. He told me it would last and not one customer returned with the headlight yellowing and I was pretty skeptical. I think it cost $60 a headlight or something along those lines and he was initially reluctant to come but as it was a small job but I pestered him. Nice guy, knows what he's doing. I'm not exaggerate when I say it has not come back in the slightest. He's a magician.
  6. +1 for carbon. Please note mongoose are adr approved. The fancy viper ones aren't. This was correct when i put mine in 3 years ago.
  7. I started off with a cheap Kkr black series intercooler: $400 I've since popped on a blitz return flow $500-600 Do you have a side mount cooler? It will be nice and responsive and good near early 200rwkw. But may heat soak in longer spirited runs The extra piping in a return flow or bigger front mount if you had a side mount may marginally increase lag. (Correct me if I am wrong?)
  8. I have an rb25 Neo. I started with Exhaust Pod (later changed to hi flow panel filter) Blitz dual sbc Boost controller (10 psi) Front mount intercooler Then: Nismo fuel pump Better suspension Split fire coil packs Bigger wheels and tyres Gktech fan Nissan Water pump Nissan Timing belt Bearings seals Hpi evolve radiator 50+mm Nissan thermostat In feb: Id1000 injectors Nistune Z32afm Atr43ss2 turbo 3"metal intake And I logged religious 5000km services in between. It took me more than two years lol but I was just worried my motor would fail on me if I just slapped on some mods. You get the idea though.
  9. Hey man. When did you see them? I don't have any pics of light cut off but I can take some. Way better than stock. About 500 with parts and postage to Darwin and back.
  10. I see. I've seen some horrendous paint jobs on the interiors of r34s. I suppose it's a matter of prep and finish in both cases
  11. Not really a painting option but I want your thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Nissan-Skyline-R34-GTR-GTT-RB26-Real-Carbon-Fiber-Gear-Surround-Cover-RHD-/271695147964?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f424af3bc&vxp=mtr
  12. Keep it up. GTT threads are popping up a lot lately
