  1. Turbo engine had oil squirters, and a noticeably less material on top of pistin to reduce comp (same chamber volume) If you used stock na pistons and a non neo head you would have aprox 8.3to1 which is low. Sure you have added capacity bit the drop in comp comes at a price. As kiwi said check cam timing, what gaiety thickness did you use? The thinner the better in the car of non neo head stick piston build.
  2. Just think of it as a bolt. which is all it is. Surely you can do it back up again! And yes, your post is right.
  3. That's trans and o2 sensor. I agree with above post,
  4. That's a shame that people do that Matt. As it would take literally 5minutes, perhaps your tuner could make the changes for free or cheap as Manuel Kasko, especially as you are bringing in a bit if knowledge for them to help future customers.
  5. Did you bleed the system? Air in the pump makes some crazy noise, and takes a long time to get out on its own.
  6. I agree with Kiwi. And don't listen to your mate. a gt35 and no other mods is mental. There is so much info available on how to get an rb25 making power. you dont need to rely on being spoon fed, have a search around and talk to some tuners and decide yourself what you want to do.
  7. Im pretty sure you need a one way for it work correctly. Could you rely on the one way valve in the oil filter to control the flow? I think if you plumb it after a remote oil filter that would work.
  8. As per title. preferably asap, or I will change my mind! Ben
  9. Both posts exactly what I was thinking!
  10. which you pretty much wrote on your post. too early ..
  11. The reason there's confusion on the manifold studs is that one end is m10x1.5, that screws into the manifold and the nut end is m10x1.25. looking forward to more results.
  12. The different ecu can't be helping. Check the ecu for error codes.
  13. I think you need to specify the use of the car, and what revs you consider to be low to get a correct cam.
  14. I'll give it a miss I think. Good luck with sale
  15. and is that your photo, as the post sats in the box unopened?
  16. No your not blind! I'm also interested. I would like a photo of the serial number as there are heaps of fakes of these unfortunately.
  17. Yeah, nothing to do with comp. And the bearings don't have to spin to be completely screwed.
  18. I would like to thank all the knob jockeys for their input
  19. In the case of upside down car I would be concerned of lack of oil supply and possible damage. Would definitely check out out further.
  20. It wouldn't have hurt the pistons or rods.
  21. Replace with stock bov. win.
  22. But as per your queston. Put 12v to injector. bam, it's open. Then its f7cked cos of the water running through it.
  23. So are you actually planning on using an inector with water? As GTSBoy had said that won't work. An ecu won't be able to just fire an extra injector anyway
