  1. Mate, as far as I know, its the size of the spring that sets the base boost level..... Maybe take it too a turbo specialist and get them to put a bit smaller spring in the wastegate setup. This is not my field of expertise, so don't flame me if im a little sidetracked. Cheers Sumo
  2. lol, good work..... And you even fooled someone Cheers Sumo
  3. I use a mechanical boost gauge. Mechanical is easier to setup. We use these on tractors where the electrical system usually cosists of a Starter motor wire and a Exciter light for the altenator.
  4. The 350's go alright..... Plenty of Torque and linear power delivery, makes it a pretty boring car to drive. The injected 304's aren't to bad as well, took a VS V8 Statesman for a run and they have plenty of poke off the line, its when you get up around 60 - 70kms/h it becomes like a yacht.. Cheers Sumo
  5. Also - If you take your spark plugs out, your starter should have more torque..... Worth a try.... Cheers Sumo
  6. I saw a mechanic having a bad day one day and in his haste he held the bar up to the wrong side of the chassis rail.... Ended up with a broken pair of glasses and a busted nose..... It sort of went like this "watch how we do this you apprentices... *whack* - You *ucken mole" Sumo
  7. I hate terrorists.
  8. How many GTR's with no mods could still run 12 seconds. I think that the GTR may of been better engineered, but its still old. Panels rust, interiors fade/perish, seats wear, engines eventually give up the ghost. I wouldn't like to see a GTR I own being used as a daily driver. I would still like a GTR to keep in my shed at home - preferably a R33 or R34 GTR. But costs are prohibative, to have a car decreasing in value in the shed for a weekend car. Cheers Matt
  9. A P plater cant drive a turbo these days...
  10. Not where I live he didnt....
  11. No way man, I love rattles.... I half undo all my screws so that it will rattle for me
  12. Mashrock, you have a 15 year old thrashed sports car..... I know where there would be more rattles.... Sumo
  13. Nice.... Although I haven't caught onto the pimping fad just yet. Its either fast or 4x4 diesel Cheers Sumo
  14. Yes, names are getting a little strange these days who would call their kids adrian or david anyways
  15. Nice
  16. Did you have the dash out and not plug in the temp senson when you put it back together? I did, and had no control of my temp. Cheers Sumo
  17. Here we go again. You want to argue over nothing? Someone is seeking a little attention by the sounds of things.
  18. Darkboy, did you not read the post i was replying too? The age thing also is a pretty poor comeback. I would have thought someone as mature as you could have come up with something better then a personal attack. Sumo P.S. Do you want some edumacation?
  19. F1 drivers drive a cart. not a car. The reason they have autos are so that they can concentrate on steering. I doubt the auto box in your skyline could even compare to the ones the F1 teams use. Sumo
  20. Are these standard computers? They vandilise a car so its undrivable? Thats great, I wonder what they will think of next. Their would be very little resale on one of these items I would have tought without the matching harness? Sumo
  21. Manual here I thought sports cars had to be manual
  22. Its a thieves world, look at the people asking you to take down the details. As for shifting the blame fidel, you recieved the money (ex mate or not) and have not delivered the goods. I dont know how you blokes can stick up for a bloke that has had 6+ weeks to repay a debt, and is still misleading him with false statements. Baz, I dont blame you for being pissed off. Cheers Sumo
  23. That would mess with ATTESSA i would have thought. Unless you increased the front and the rear ratio's proportionally to each other. I do not have a clear grasp of the finer details of how the attessa system works, but changing 1 ratio you will have the fronts (In full 4wd lock) dragging the rears - and will end up with a car fighting itself. Thats just the mechanical part of it, I would hate to think of the computer trying to work out what is going on - I bet if it could, it would sit their scratching its head. Cheers Sumo
  24. lol, good call I should defend my r33, but I live in a town where their is only me, I have only seen a couple of 33's and one 32 just "passing" through Cheers Sumo
  25. Can you please point out where I said get a v8 tonner? They did come in a 6 cyl also :bonk:
