  1. Looks like RIPS NZ have produced a stroker kit for the RB30! Trying to find more info on this but for now all I can say is scroll forwards to 2:25 in the video: EDiT more info:
  2. Sounds like boost is escaping. Check for leaks... Did you use gaskets and silicone when assembling it?
  3. Interesting none the less. Power Enterprise seem to be slowly taking the place of Trust, HKS, A'PEXi etc in the likes of power mods. Pretty sure they were the first to release a Twin turbo kit for the 350Z, and one of the few from Japan to offer any serious power modifications to the RX-8. It's good to see another larger Japanese company step up to fill the void
  4. Sounds like the starter motor throw-out gear not retracting quick enough. Common problem... bit of a bitch to replace but not too hard if your handy with a spanner.
  5. FWIW People used to wave to one enother just if they owned an import. I remember getting waves from S13s, Celica GT4's etc and then having them follow me to have a chat about who imported it, what you've done to it etc... Then the import scene grew big enough for its own seperate Skyline enthusiast scene. Now thanks to the hard work of the enthusiasts the Skyline can be owned by practically anyone, parts are available everywhere, there is alot of knowledge of the car. You dont have to be an enthusiast to own one, and they're practically everywhere. Its only normal that people who are less appreciative of the car will own them and be less interested in the scene.
  6. How about a caliper relocation bracket to fit larger 324mm discs? I can find a photo somewhere...
  7. You need to match it with the alternator, a/c compressor etc. If you use an RB26 alternator, then use an RB26 Harmonic balancer.
  8. Your Answer = A few pages back http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=1362928
  9. Thanks for sharing rev210 re-inforces my decision to continue buying quality parts
  10. Thats ok if you just want to remove oil any oil from entering the intercooler but you should ideally plumb the PCV valve line to the catch can too.
  11. IHI make turbo's for Subaru, A'PEXi, I think even the new R35 GTR?? and a heap of diesel vehicles
  12. Motul 8100 Excess 5w40 maxes at 8bar+ When cold Warm 2 -2.5 bar at Idle And around 5-6bar at around 5000rpm Try doing an oil change and seeing what happens as I have noticed if you extend out the servicing it can affect the pressure. Not sure why possibly due to a bit of fuel contamination??
  13. You block off the coolant bleed. Most of the hoses are covered in this thread have a read from page 1
  14. Ik heb de Nederlandse grootouders But my Dutch is very limited
  15. Actually I have heard of the sandwich plates supplied with the chinese kits being dodgy. I think there was a thread a few months back describing something similar. I suggest try a new sandwich plate Veel geluk!

  18. Those 90deg male to female swivels you have used on the cam covers, are they more compact than a basic 90deg hose end? I just installed my catch can and fittings etc only to find i can no-longer close my bonnet
  19. A bigger turbo, or swapping rear housing around will also affect note

    Wreckers

Is anyone who's currently in Japan willing to get their hands on a hard to find part from a wrecker for me? Im after a HKS CAMP Junction Box with fluid pressure sensor. HKS no longer make them and im having trouble locating one! Obviously im willing to pay
  21. Sorry to hear. Not worth risking your motor with Chinese parts though, looks like you just found out why
