  1. I occasionally see a white Stagea with white Rays G-Games rims on Mowbray Rd at Chatswood. Very nice.
  2. If a set of rims fits on a R34 GTT, they will fit on a R33 GTS-T. The stock standard R34 GTT wheel will definitely fit a R33 GTS-T.
  3. Spotted yellow R34 SC-340 in Chatswood
  4. You will find there will be little to no performance difference between the 3. All 3 will also have no fitting issues and be made with the highest quality. Noise will vary of course but it's nearly impossible to compare. My 2c: My brother had a N1 on his FTO and it sounded sweet. Of course, it's hardly any use to you as it's a 2.0L NA engine.
  5. I would do this if my car did not have airbags You could probably just chuck the wheel in the boot. The mere sight of no steering wheel would deter most car thieves.
  6. Get a detachable steering wheel if you want security..
  7. yuk. Dinner plate chrome rims like that do not suit a Skyline. Skyline is a sports car. Leave the chrome for pimp/VIP cars.
  8. It says 1998? $70,000 for a 8 year old car vs $65000 for a new car. You can't compare price wise.
  9. Easy choice this one - go for another one. Plenty of other 33s around. A stock, undamaged, unmarked and well taken care of S2 R33 has a market value of approx $18,000. I know the feeling of buying a car and looking past its faults because you want a Skyline badly but that's what SAU is here for - to talk common sense in to you.

    Type M ?

AFAIK all S2 R33s were Type-M. Do a search on SAU and there's a indepth discussion about it somewhere. There's definitely no such sticker saying a car is Type-M.
  11. Haha nah I just guessed because the most popular dimensions for G-Games were the ones you mentioned (18x7.5 +42)
  12. This may also be handy: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp What rims you getting? Let me take a guess... Rays G-Games?
  13. eric, +42 will fit okay because the wheel width is not that wide (7.5")
  14. I don't think FriniK is getting new rims anytime soon... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=100517

  16. what the hell are they stan?
  17. Hope weather gets better...
  18. For that budget it's pretty restrictive on what you can get. Decent 18" tyres will already eat up close to $1000. So that leaves you $1000-$1500 for 18" rims... Not possible to get any kind of decent (JDM) rims I think Try JDMImports for some imported Japanese rims (I doubt you could afford any of the 18" ones though): http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=73908 or failing that, www.tempetyres.com.au Go the Starcorp Impuls!
  19. $2000 including tyres?
  20. You know we're talking about a sticker...
  21. See: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=35129 for FAQ on buying a Skyline. The market for R33s is saturated so bargain as hard as possible. You should be able to knock it down to $18,500 (assuming its nearly stock).
  22. This cruise is a year old. See the original post Jan 1 2005
  23. Eds R32 r0x0rs. Best white 32 GTST I've seen. B)
  24. Perfect Run is actually a tuning garage based in Sydney so in reality you are not buying from Japan so you won't get hit with taxes etc. My brother used to get his FTO serviced there and the guy that runs the place (Taki) knows his stuff - IIRC owns his own R33 GTR.
  25. It says $69 but the postage is $20(!!) So that's a total of $89 - not that cheap. The two known cheapest places are: Kudos Motorsports ($83.50 total) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=88752 and Nengun ($58.71 total) http://www.nengun.com Problem with Nengun is that you are buying direct from Japan so parts can take up to a month (sometimes more) to get here. There is also a risk that your goods maybe hit with tax at customs.
